Total domination in 2nd half. It was 7-6 at half. WC only score came when they recovered their fumble in the end zone. WC probably didn't get 150 yds all night. 2nd half HHS scored on a couple of long drives had a pick 6 and also a one play 55yd run. If HHS can knock off WJ and WC beat Laurel, HHS wins the region by everyone having 2 region losses but WC but HHS having the tiebreaker over WC. That Little Brown Jug game is going to be HUGE!!!!!

I’m curious to see what the region 3 standings are right now.  I know Florence won tonight along with Laurel, so it’ll be interesting to see how things shake out.

West  jones played like ass.  From the get go laurel took the field amped.  WJ went through the motions.  WJ turned the ball over 6 times.  1 a pick-6, 2 others were in Wj territory.  The last was in the endzone to end the game when laurel db out jumped a Wj receiver.  Laurel had 0 turnovers.  This was the 3rd time I have seen Laurel this year and it was the first time their o line (with its 2 future d1 players) actually blocked anyone.  Wests qb was scrambling as soon as he got the ball regardless if there was pressure or not. Threw everything on the run. Laurel flat out out-played WJ. They wanted it more. And WJ gave it to them.

Unless Laurel drops the last two it will be Hattiesburg, Laurel, WJ and WC . We just have to hammer the order out. In order for Florence to get in Laurel has to drop two

Florence is all but Eliminated from playoffs now.  They lost to Wayne county and west jones. right now if either one doesn’t win again they would tie with florence and both have tie breaker.  Their only hope now is that Hattiesburg and Wayne beat laurel and I don’t see Wayne county doing so at this point.

Senior QB Ty Murphy and Eupora got the ball with 2:17 left and down by 1, drove down and threw a beautiful TD pass with 35 seconds left to seal the win.

NW Rankin, Brandon, Oak Grove have beaten Meridian they are in playoffs, Warren Central  plays Meridian last game. Meridian must win next week or Warren Central  is in.

If WC wins Friday, then it is a moot point for Meridian. WC plays at Petal. Most likely they win that game though Petal played a solid game against Meridian last night.

As it stands, Meridian’s one point loss to OG and three point loss to NWR are going to be the difference between being in the playoffs and not. 
Gotta be able to win close games. We have failed to do so to this point.

Yea New Albany have to beat Houston to move up maybe to 2 seed, Ripley somehow get upset at Pontotoc it be Shannon,  Ripley 1st rd if not it be Shannon vs New Albany or somehow Shannon lose to Caledonia it be Caledonia vs New Albany or vs Ripley if not it be Shannon vs either New Albany or Ripley

For Meridian to get in, it has to win it's last 2 games and Warren Central has to lose it's last 2. Probably not gonna happen.

In addition to the 6 TO, I lost count but there had to be at least 6 false starts and 6 or 7 defensive offsides. You should not be doing that after 7 games. To install discipline you can’t be their buddy on the practice field, maybe in the hall at 1st period, but not at practice.
