You're absolutely right. It's not "Fire Lemonis" time because that time has already passed. When you do nothing, expect nothing.

But when you are trying to operate a 7A athletic department like a D1 athletic department, why combine the duties? I get the point made about that being the way to give the HFC a bump in pay, but with the deep pockets that Brandon has, they should be able to afford both. Give the base pay and then give supplemental pay. Is there a limit on supplemental pay?

Brandon is in a bit of an identity crisis with their job posting. Do they want a HFC or an AD? It seems to me like it would make better sense if it was two separate positions. Do you want this guy to have some family time or not?

Based off of their athletics website, they could probably hand pick the coach they want. They've got a D1, Power 4 level website. It's a Sidearm Sports powered by Learfield website.

Serious question. Can St. Martin opt out of Varsity Football? Do they need more time to reorganize and develop a plan? If so, putting a temporary pause on varsity football could be beneficial if they are just trying to scrap something together at this point. You would hate it for any Seniors that they have, but they seriously need to stop digging their hole deeper.
