We certainly aren't going to speculate, but it definitely has the optics of that. Whatever the reason is, it definitely seems like it's something petty. Adults need to be adults because these kids are the ones who suffer from this. It just makes things logistically more difficult as well since it's blanketed to all sports.

All I know is that you are supposed to win with class and lose with class. This obviously paints a different picture, but like you said hopefully he will come to his senses.

When y'all host Stone next Friday, it will be the de facto 4-5A Region Championship. It's also region 4 turn to host, so Wayne County can essentially have home field advantage until the finals. If y'all wind up with the 1 seed in Region 4 and Brookhaven gets the 1 seed in region 3 and y'all meet up in the semi-finals, they'll have to travel to Waynesboro. I realize a lot of things will have to fall into place for this to happen, but if y'all knock off Stone next Friday it's really not out of the question at all.

You can't let Wayne County's record fool you. They are getting things figured out and with the way 5A is, they could be a real threat.

West Harrison at D’Iberville Callaway at Harrison Central Biloxi at St. Martin Ocean Springs at Gulfport Greene County at Pass Christian McComb at Poplarville St. Stanislaus at Stone Bay at Hancock All kickoff times will remain the same.

That and they make you leave the stadium and go back to your vehicle. At least if there's no issues of bad weather on Thursday, they get the game in which is what is important.
