He doesn't have to. There's something out there called commuting. Heck, I wouldn't leave either cuz moving ain't fun.

This probably doesn't mean anything but they let him wear #1 while there. He would have had to make a strong impression while they were recruiting him to get that number. He will definitely be a big help to the WR room.

Y'all will probably need to add another 7A school but who? Maybe an Ocean Springs or something like that. You certainly wouldn't want to add a 6A opponent from region 4 because you would be setting yourself up to play them twice. Maybe go get an out of state team from either Louisiana or Alabama to fill a spot as well.

State survived the Vandy run and left Memorial Gym with a double digit win. Great road win for State.

So does that mean we will need to clean house?

It is a big hire. Hopefully it will get filled soon because spring football will be here before we know it. Bringing up the rear of the coaching carousel is a bad place to be for any school in search of a new coach.

With it being this time of year it would make total sense. Bring him in and let them boys have a "King Cake" party.

Didn't Clarkdale have a new coach this past season? It was probably a transition year for them, but they still managed to make the playoffs. Even in a down year they are still better than Enterprise and that's awesome. Clarkdale should be better this fall for sure.

Clarkdale is awesome. They shouldn’t have any issues making it 4 straight. If they do, I’ll be shocked.

What's Kiffin's record against ranked opponents? If that's not good, then that may be a part of the problem.
