If it does, that remains to be seen. Biloxi has only made it to the second round of the playoffs 4 times in the MHSAA era. I saw where they made the playoffs this year with three wins and had a quick 0-1 exit. They've never made it to the third round before and if they could ever just go 2-1 in the playoffs, it would be a major accomplishment for them. It's going to take everyone in that community pulling in the same direction for it to happen though.

If Pascagoula goes a different route, that’s perfectly fine and it appears that’s the direction they are going. If opportunities don’t present themselves, that’s okay too. There’s also nothing wrong with advocating for someone who has the experience and is deserving of a destination type job as well.

I'm sure that's a possibility, but Picayune likes to fill the non-region up with challenging 7A opponents and I think Poplarville is back on permanently as well. Then Picayune has the opportunity to fill it with the quality out of state Louisiana teams as well. Who honestly knows what will happen.

Call me crazy, but as much as Picayune plays Pascagoula I want Pascagoula to hire someone that will challenge Picayune's coaching staff and give them fits. Picayune has got to get better in pass defense and Pascagoula has the opportunity to get someone that I think in the long run will help both teams.

Picayune wasn't LOL. That was a rough stretch for the Maroon Tide. Calvin came on at the tail end of the Big 8 days and got it turned around for Picayune.

Don't sell yourself short. You know what's going on down there and why.

I know you've posted about the history of Biloxi before and I think you have a great insight as to why things are, the way they are, at Biloxi.

I’m really not surprised by this being open again. It’s a job that probably looks good on the outside, but once the outer layer of plastic begins to dry rot from the Biloxi sun it’s a mess.

Maybe he can get Meridian an extra timeout LOL. If he does that, I’ll count his Meridian tenure a success. But here’s the kicker: I want to see him do it staying cool, calm, & collected on the sideline.

That's not a transfer. That's called moving from one grade to the next all within the same school district. A transfer is moving from one district to another.
