That was a decade ago... NC stopped releasing kids in their district to other schools. They will consolidate if the state mandates it, which is possible, but I doubt it happens otherwise.

How many schools in MHSAA have on campus housing for students? I only know of three. Two of those three will have the 1.5 multiplier added to them.

There are plenty of students in the surrounding area. Doesn’t change the fact that they have on campus dorms for students who are not from within the area.

There is a solid argument that it should. They are a boarding school, they don’t have a defined district and pull kids from all over.

The kid from Quitman moving would be sad imo. They have the talent to win 4A south and are about to be much better coached than they have been since Bynum days. People on here like to put Teddy down but plain and simple fact is he is a winner. Everyone who saw Dear as a Freshman or Soph knew he was a power 5 player. Third party advisor nor a bigger school is needed for him to get to a high level. However it is his and his family’s decision.
