I remember when NSD felt like another holiday. Now it’s just basically another day with the way times are. That being said Ole Miss was able to get signatures from the two guys I was hoping would stick around. Landon Barnes and JaMichael Garrett are going to be future stars on the defensive side of the ball. Can’t wait to see them in Ole Miss jerseys.

Something that has been bugging me(not on here) is why do folks elsewhere keep saying Kiffin is going to be unstoppable with the 25M NIL LSU is giving him to get players? That was pretty much just our defense last year. 25M really isn’t that much.

I pretty much became an Ole Miss fan 10 years ago when I moved to Oxford. You can occasionally see me strolling through the square with something LSU on getting the stink eye from folks. Today has been kinda weird for me.

At this point I think Ole Miss will play in the 6/11 game and A&M play in the 7/10. The SECCG will determine if both drop because if Georgia loses I assume Bama will get the bye even with 2 losses and Georgia will still be ahead of both Ole Miss and A&M.

Part of me says 16 is perfect based off this year but how often does this year happen? There could be seasons where 4 loss teams are in the playoffs if it’s 16. 12 is a nice number but there will always be 3 or 4 teams that say they belong over others.

I agree but give it time and it’s going to be 16, then 20 something then 32. Especially after Texas gets left out this year and we never hear the end of it.

And the execution wasn’t really that great yesterday. We had the short game going in the 1Q then started going for the home run and missed on some deep balls. Instead of putting it away one play at a time we tried to do it with one throw and it led to some 3 and outs. Wallace had his worst game as a Rebel with a couple drops that he doesn’t normally have. I, like most Ole Miss fans have been waiting for Stribling to have his breakout game that he finally had. When all WR’s are on their game I don’t know a better WR group in college. This is a national championship offense with a bend and hopefully don’t break and cost the game defense which we knew would be going into the season since most of the NIL was put into the offense and not the defense.

Saban this morning on Gameday saying if Ole Miss makes the SECCG they would be wrong in not letting Kiffin coach is kind of strange seeing as how he didn’t let him coach in the national championship game when he took the FAU job.

Serious question. Why doesn’t State fans put Lebby in the same category as Arnett? They’ve basically done the same yet Lebby was given more time. Some State fans I’m around make Arnett seem like he’s the guy to blame for where y’all are at now.
