I think by the end of this portal season it looks like Arkansas is going to be Ole Miss’ farm system. The way it’s looking I expect 4-5 former Razorbacks. How that turns out product wise, we’ll see.

Been getting a kick out of LSU fans today talking about Womack because of his stats. We heard the same about Nolan’s stats last year. We heard the same about Umanmielen from Florida fans and Amos from Bama fans. Now all three are All SEC 1st Team projected first round guys. Let Golding work. Going to land Princewill Umanmielen as well who #1 Edge in the portal. Might not click next year but both guys have two years left so there’s plenty of upside there for the future. Right now I’m just patiently waiting on if Poo is returning for his senior season. Will easily be #38 next season and can go down as one of the best Ole Miss LB’s ever. His dad has been the best recruiter we’ve had the last couple weeks.

Things I like about Ole Miss schedule 1. You get UK Week 2. Get you a warm up Week 1 then go right into SEC play. 2. Bye after Week 5. Get you a good batch of games in and then get a week to rest up some guys who will have injuries. 3. Only leave the state of MS 3 times in the year. No excuse of travel wear and tear. Never leave the state in November. 4. LSU, USC and Florida at home. No excuse for crowd noise and poor me we gotta play there at night.

The thing that really grinds my gears is when these guys announce they’re going into the transfer portal, they end it with #GodsPlan. I don’t think God told you to go to 4 different colleges in 4 years. Doubt he said thou shalt chase the bag my son.

I knew Harris wouldn’t be 1st team because of the amount of games he missed. I’m campaigning more for guys like Lacy and Lambert-Smith who had more yards, TD’s and ypr than Burden. Both had more yards than Ryan Williams with Lacy having 1 more TD and Lambert-Smith having the same amount. Both guys are top five in the league in both categories. Burden was 17th in receiving in the SEC and wasn’t even the leading WR on his team.

All they see is that five star by his name. He’s still very much raw. If you tell them though they just respond with “you’re just butthurt”. IMO Kamario Taylor is more college ready.

Looking like it’s going to have to be one of their frat’s intramural flag football team.

Their fans keep saying just throw Deuce out there his freshman season but I hate to tell them, Deuce is far from SEC ready. I honestly don’t see him starting til year 3 if he’s still around there by then.

I quit paying attention to the rest of the list when I saw Luther Burden and his 600 yards receiving as SEC 1st team. Yes he’s a 1st round talent but there were plenty that put up better numbers. He only averaged 55 yards a game in conference play.

In other news, Duke’s 2nd string QB also entered the portal today so they’ll be on their 3rd stringer against Ole Miss. Strange happenings there.
