It’s rumored that the Ole Miss contract sitting on his desk is for 13M making him the 2nd highest paid coach in college. I’ve also heard 13.5 but not sure how true that it because that would have him making more than Kirby. As far as recognition, the only thing missing is his statue because I think he’s gotten plenty of recognition from Ole Miss and the outside world.

We’re fighting over a guy who missed the playoffs with last year’s roster who had 8 guys drafted. Something that should’ve never happened. This year we caught lightning in a bottle with Lacy and Chambliss. If not for those two we’re a 7-5 team. Especially with our backend of the defense.

I’m kinda torn in the whole situation. Part of me wants him to come back because he’s a good coach. Good not great. The other part would like to have a coach who isn’t on X trolling a hour before games. Last year he was trolling Florida a hour before we lost to Kentucky. Or practicing for Georgia when it’s the WAZZOU week. If he’s gone I trust Carter to keep this ball rolling. We’re a program that’s got a top ten NIL collective and can pay a coach top dollar. This day and age Ole Miss can do the same with someone else if it’s the right guy. Kiffin has been given everything he could possibly want to succeed. So will the next guy.

I know it’s a completely different team but I do remember the last time Biggersville was given 0 chance they upset Velma Jackson for a state championship.

Got his break on MTV’s The Real World and now a pretty big podcaster that goes around basically collecting SEC jerseys and SEC QB mom’s. He was pretty funny when he wasn’t as famous but now he’s kinda gotten stale and annoying.

Appears the ultimatum was a made up story. One of many that’s transpired during this soap opera.

Were they missing players when they lost to Perry Central? Seems like a strange loss.

Rumor has it he’s the one that spotted Chambliss and got him here so he’s at least done one thing right here.

He’ll def be one of the leading candidates but I think if Kiffin leaves after the Egg Bowl and it gives Carter enough time to make a run at someone before all the coaches are swiped up, we’ll be at war with Auburn for Jon Sumrall.

I grew up with Pete’s wife. She is an Ole Miss graduate and has been an Ole Miss crazy for as long as I can remember her. As a married man I know happy wife happy life so I don’t see him going anywhere. I don’t see Joe Judge, Randall Joyner or Kevin Smith going anywhere. Charlie Weis Jr is up in the air. Chris Kiffin will def go. Wes Neighbors and John Garrison could quickly be replaced if they do.

When Lacy hit the 200 yard mark last night I said maybe State has held Hardy in check and Lacy took the SEC rushing lead. I then looked at the game tracker and was like welp nevermind on that.

The offense is averaging 33 p/g and 415 yards of offense. They’ve traveled rather well this year.

That’s really no surprise.

With the USF loss USM put themselves in a good situation to be in the playoffs if they were to beat James Madison in the SBC championship but they are laying an egg today vs Texas St. Some of it has to do with them having to use a backup QB but they had no room for error and their defense is giving up too much.

It’ll be weeks 2 & 3 of the playoffs in mid November. The weather usually isn’t ideal during that time but for as long as I can remember games were still played in it. Even if it does rain, it’s still suppose to be 72/50 for high/low. That’s football weather. I worked a 12 hour shift just south of Chicago last week in freezing rain, snow, 30 mph winds and was 8 degrees. 70 degrees with 50% chance of rain sounds like paradise.

It appears they’ve found their mojo in the 2H.

South Carolina 30 Texas A&M 3 Half And to think there were Ole Miss fans upset that we only scored 30 against South Carolina and were complaining about our offense. South Carolina’s defense is legit when their front seven play like they are today.

Texas A&M better figure something out quick or they’re going to be in trouble.

It was suppose to rain last week when they moved games and it turned out to be 60 and clear throughout the whole state.

Heck they just got shutout by a not so good Callaway team last week too.
