With all the trash Umanmielen had to hear from Florida players and fans after the game last year, the ultimate karma would be for his brother to have his best game of the season tomorrow. It’s a possibility because he’s been clutch lately.

I thought it would cost us the Oklahoma game and it didn’t. I think the players realize what they’re playing for THIS YEAR and they’ll get it done. It’s crazy that the rebuild year team has been the most dependable and full of leaders.

For anyone in the area, I can’t attend the basketball game tonight because the wife can give birth any day now. Got a brisket on the smoker and bout to throw some jalapeño alligator boudin on it. Y’all are more than welcome to stop by. Gonna have the basketball game going on one tv on the back patio, Oxford/Hernando on the 2nd and Lafayette/Cleveland Central on the 3rd. Pete is probably ticked at Lane too because he knows other schools aren’t going to pay him what Ole Miss is paying him. We do have some of the highest paid coordinators in college. I also think Pete thinks he has a shot of becoming the head coach if Lane leaves.

I expect if he does go to Florida, it won’t be announced until after the Egg Bowl and Ole Miss will play the playoffs with an interim head coach which will prob be Golding. If he stays at Ole Miss I expect the announcement will wait til after the playoffs.

His LSU paychecks end this year so it’s time for him to hit the sideline again.

They flipped out because Neal McCready said he thinks he’s gone. I’ve been saying it’s a coin flip but now I’m leaning more 60/40 he’s headed to Florida. He can say it’s not about the money but it’ll be hard to turn down 15M a year. Especially with Jimmy Sexton as agent.

Saw the cleanest 37 mins of play I’ve seen in a long time from Ole Miss. During that stretch we had only 3 turnovers, was outrebounding Memphis by 4 and was shooting 73% from 3. Also only had 10 total fouls with no one in foul trouble. Those last 3 mins got them back in the game though. Gotta clean that up. Was promising that Storr was off but Giffa was able to pick up his slack. Been having excellent guard play the first three games. See you at the Tad Pad Friday night against CSUB for the last game ever before it gets demolished!!

The SEC as a whole has def not looked as stout as it did last year. Already some losses in primetime matchups.
