He will keep the train on the tracks!

Been there forever. He went to West Point like 16-17 years ago after being the Head Coach at Cleveland East Side in 2012 I think. East Side went 13/14-1 that year if I remember correctly.
-
None. Colin Boone is the only name to consider. He went 25-1 and went to back to back state championships as a head coach at a school that was 13-21 in the 3 years prior to his arrival and went 6-6 with a weaker schedule and a PowerPoint system after his departure.

The Offensive Coordinator last year was an assistant there for several years and left Hernando to be a HFC and went to back to back state championships in MAIS as a HFC at Kirk Academy. He returned last year to Hernando as their OC so I’m betting that it was with the understanding that he would be next in line. Just my assumption.

Also looks like what the DC name would be.

Based on the region they are in they will win it every year which pretty much guarantees them a north half appearance. i could probably find a way to win 10 games at West Point and in the words of Forest Gump….. “I’m not a very smart man”. Who’s going to challenge them in the North? Cleveland - too soft Holmes - too “spread” Lafayette - too wh… I mean slow

And down goes Frazier if that is the route taken. Didn’t he last a year at Starkville as DC?

I hate to say it but it doesn’t seem to be getting better without change in city council, mayor, and school board. During the ice storm the city was without water and power and our faithful leader of a mayor was at the casino with his girlfriend shooting craps posting highlight reels. Real life!

Couldn’t the same be said of Fair leaving Grenada? A lot of thought went into that one.
-
Should have been much worse. Grenada dropped 3 TD passes and then gifted Oxford a TD by fumbling in the end zone. Oxford scored with 23 seconds left to cut it to 31-28. This final could have easily been 56-21. Grenada laid an egg last week versus a great Winona team but when Grenada is clicking they have the ability to be dangerous. Grenada has a Sophomore WR named Zayvion Cotton that is the real deal! 6'5 215. Runs like a gazelle. I watched DK Metcalf play his whole HS career at Oxford and this kid is the closest thing I've seen to Dekaylin walk onto that field. They have him listed at 6'5 but I'm guessing he closer to 6'7 than 6'5. I've never seen a 15 year old look like that and move that well.

7A - Tupelo 6A - Grenada (think they have a legit shot) it will be between South Panola, Grenada, and Warren Central. I think Grenada because they have always been a quarterback away from being great and they have that this year. 5A - West Point is not a sleeper but there is no need in picking one. Every challenger is down. 4A - IAHS 3A - Choctaw County Nettleton 2A - Charleston 1A - Shaw
