His father was my high school principal after coaching for years, and he was close friends with my parents, who were teachers and administrators. You’re probably aware that wife and mother Courtney passed away of cancer five years ago, with the entire school and community involved in her fight and the family being adopted by all. Just a feel good story all around, so definitely a hard act to follow. That said, it’s a very desirable position, and one that should attract some good resumes. My source would not give a name because only a handful know this and they do not want it getting out, but I was told to be prepared to be shocked and it should be announced this week. Not sure what that means, but I will be trying to figure out who it is.
