Well after losing to Long Beach I can understand that thought. I heard Long Beach did a great job of keeping Gautier’a offense off the field with long, time consuming drives and forcing Gautier to have to take advantage of minimal possessions. Sometimes the better team doesn’t always win, (look at you guys at PRC last year). I honestly believe the region race will not be settled until the final week.

Despite the outcomes overall, I still believe Picayune, PRC, Gautier and Pascagoula are good enough to win the region and Hancock and Long Beach are showing they are good enough to throw wrenches in things. Shoot, who is to say they cannot win it either?

I have said from the beginning that Region 4-6A is as wide open as it ever has been. Going to be interesting to see it play out

Region is as wide open as it probably has ever been. I genuinely think PRC, Pascagoula, Gautier, and Picayune are all good enough to win the thing and you also have Hancock that could surprise someone.

Honestly, I do not know if that region has ever been as wide open as it is right now. Picayune, Pascagoula, PRC, Gautier and Hancock are all capable of making it, or being left out. Even Long Beach is 3-1 right now.

I agree with most of this. I think d'Iberville got a little "too cute" as they say in the first half and missed on several passes, including a few that would have put them deep in Pascagoula territory instead of focusing on their bread and butter. In the 2nd half, they just decided to run it down Pascagoula's throat and that coupled with how bad the Panther offense was - ran the 'Goula defense down. d'Iberville is a good football team, but that is about it. Nothing I saw from their game with Pascagoula says they will beat a region 3 team come playoff time - especially not Oak Grove, Brandon or Petal.

There is a certain arrogance in Ocean Springs that many, many residents have. There have been many incidents I have heard of dealing with bullying that never results in real consequences. It typically just ends with a meeting and it is over to the school. However, many times it continues to happen and the school pretends it is not going on anymore. There have been a few suicides sadly of students in the district over the past few years linked directly to bullying. Full disclosure, I do not really enjoy living here, and did not want to move here. However, "Happy Wife, Happy Life". LOL. It is a beautiful city, and I get why people would want to move here. However, to me, it is a fake aura that I am not overly enthused about.

It is honestly the worst part of living in OS in my opinion. I have not personally had to deal with it, but I have plenty of friends and know others that have. There is a LOT of sweeping under the rug by the schools in the district to keep things under wraps to protect the crystal clear image the district portrays. The city itself is honestly the same way.

That is the thing, I am hearing none of them are expected to be down low enough to drop. West Harrison and St. Martin are the only two remotely close but I am hearing they both think they are squarely staying 7A.

Hearing Hancock will be moving up to 7A. May be a log jam in Region 4-7A

It is not a jinx. LOL. I will say this, if you guys lose to Biloxi, there are some major issues going on. Probably the worst Biloxi team I have seen in a quite some time.

Ocean Springs 22-12 over Pascagoula. Glad the ‘Hounds came out with a W. Honestly not impressed with either team. Both are average at best. Several personal foul penalties on Pascagoula. Sloppy overall game.

I am not expecting a whole lot from the "Hounds right now, my friend. 'Goula probably will not see a true, quality opponent until d'Iberville the way things have shaken out so far.

I think it comes down to how good Hattiesburg really is right now offensively. I think defensively, they should be able to keep them in the game with how good their front is. Oak Grove has probably played a little bit tougher of a schedule through 2 games. I think Oak Grove wins in a good, hard fought battle that could go either way depending on how Hattiesburg does offensively.

I would say it does. Biloxi I believe kicked 5 field goals vs. Holmes or somewhere around that number. I was told Biloxi is battling some early injuries to key players, but even with that, they looked really awful especially on offense vs. Pascagoula.

From what I saw of Biloxi vs. Pascagoula, they are way, way down. Picayune should win relatively easy in my opinion.

Lebron James is going to retire and join Akron after this season. He will have full eligibility. LOL

The Lane Brady era at West Marion is off to a bad start to say the least.

Sadly, I worry that may happen. Hopefully we play a competitive game, but I am not confident.

Makes too much sense for this not to happen.
