choctawman
You guys talking about conditioning and cramps must not have played on a wet field. Uniforms become wet, ground is soft. I played from junior high through college but did not have to play on a wet field very much. Sometimes you can be in good shape and still get them. Only game I caught a cramp was a Friday after watching Zebra on Thursday at the Lamar with their .25 cent draft... maybe it was a dollar, but in any case I was thoroughly dehydrated. OS scored 21 in the 3rd including a blocked FG return for a TD and got the lead then OG scored 21 unanswered to win. OS played well though.
