Yea it is,gonna be a rough year if they don't get their starters back healthy and playing, i guess the only good thing was that came out of it was stringer won after 37 years! ( last win was 1989) Congratulations to stringer! They deserved that win!

Taylorsville lost 18 seniors from last year, the first string and second string running backs are hurt, several lineman are also hurt! ,don't know if any will be able to play this year! They're playing a lot of young players! It's gonna be a tough year, but they do have a promising Jr high group coming up!

Taylorsville graduated everything from last years team, they are young and will get better, how much better, i guess we'll see!

Colombia 6/0 final!

Calhoun wins 14 to 8

Have no idea

This should be looked into because these refs are not supposed to be from that area ,that would make someone think something kinky went on!

I've never been much on calling out refs ,but these refs at Simmons was so obvious it should be looked into, how can you call pi when the receiver was never psychically touched? How can you call defensive holding on a play where the QB was running away from the line of scrimmage and sacked for a 10 yard loss? How can you call a false start talk about it, pick up the flag, place the ball then come back and move it back 5 yards for a false start? If you can beat a team ,beat them you don't need the refs help,I pull for the south in state games ,but this was so obvious what was going on...I'll be pulling for Calhoun city 100%

Simmons scores after refs call defense holding on a 10 yard loss sack ,how do you have defensive holding when the QB ran backwards and was sacked?

Yes, but it's gonna be a game!

Hope they all go to state again, I believe Raleigh comes out with the w ,but it's gonna be a game,Taylorsville is capable of winning, they're no where the team they were the first four games but the game is at Simmons so guess we'll know when the clock reaches double 00,mize definitely has a short mountain to climb but any team can be beaten on any given game day! Most definitely pulling for all three! SMITH COUNTY STRONG!

If it's raining, passing will be a problem, it will come down to running the ball, rain and a wet field is an equalizer ! I think mize holds on!

Taylorsville 45 west Lincoln 0 halftime, younger kids getting a little experience

Noticed They're switching in and out the QBs also!

Taylorsville 43 to 12 over stringer 6 minutes left in game!

Maybe now with new administration they won't leave! They've been fully staffed each year even though they had some leave because of the last administration, especially the principal!

Taylorsville was a c rating for the 23/24 school year, 24/25 hasn't been released yet according to MDE!

Thanks for the info on those Thursday night games guys!

Any Thursday night games?

Taylorsville had a bunch of penalties also,on Taylorsville Td they were like 2nd and 25 to go for a first down because of holding penalties, both teams had a lot of penalties but it's just normal early season!

Taylorsville 7 SC 0

Taylorsville 7 SC 0

They also had several of their starters that didn't play because of baseball playoffs!

You were wrong on Taylorsville in that they were 1A ,they were 2A until 2021 when they moved down !
