Last year Biloxi was very weak at LOS. So not a big surprise that Meridian beat them tonight.
And people forget that these are high school kids. Quitman played their Super Bowl last week. So naturally they thought Heidelberg was going to be a cakewalk and as a result played flat and lost a game they should have won.
All that to say Meridian is still not a good team but I am glad for the win. And at least we put some points on the board tonight.

Yes it’s always good to put points on the board.  Glad yall got a solid win over Biloxi.

You going to remain humble or take more from that win last week?

I tell you what, Tville coming back and responding like they did this week speaks volumes for that new coaching staff. Bay Springs now probably needs to have a gut check moment after back to back tough weeks. I expect them to bounce back too

Taylorsville is still out of shape, numerous cramps on quite a few players, that's all on the coaching though! Cramps happen, but shouldn't be that many!

You only have 29 players, and you don’t have a 2 deep at any position.

Coaches can only do so much. What a player does during his offtime to keep his body in shape is up to him.

I have to respectfully disagree. Early season cramping reflects poor conditioning and pre-game hydration which is 100% on the coaching.

I ran levees with legendary Hall of Famer Rosedale Coach Leland Young during off-season and early season but I also had my teenage fun so that’s why I say that. Caught my worst cramp Week 2 in both legs.
