Yep. 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022, 2023 all years I thought we had more talent than displayed. Also, the coast teams for some odd ball reason have our number.

2 years in a row the season end on a sour note. 3 years ago I said within 3 years I think Hattiesburg reaches the championship game, that interpretation was before 3 years. This is the third year. I know WJ & Picayune has been the apex predator but losing to Vancleve and Pascagoula in the first is like someone smiling at you and stick a knife in the kidney at the same time. In what I believe to be Tony Vance last year before he moves on, I hope luck is on our side.

On the Tigers win streak we've outscored opponents 263-43 when it mattered, majority of those point allowed come from the George County game down in Lucedale.

With our four down linemen teams have not had much success running the ball at all. Our whole defensive line much like WJ is stout and all juniors. Offensively Hattiesburg can run the ball or sling it we can almost do what we want, or we have up until this point. I have not seen WJ much at all this year, so I'm taking everyone's word for it. I'm anxious to see how our offense perform against the WJ defense..... if I can see it somehow. This is the time for Coach Vance or Coach Reynolds to shine.

I agree with your take. But I will say for WJ to decisively win this ball game they will have to sling the rock and sling it effectively.

If Terry or WJ can stop our run game they got a real chance. But I don't think they can. To beat Hattiesburg you have to sling the rock if you don't it's not happening.

Any team that legitly can throw the football has a real chance to beat Hattiesburg I won't sugar coat that. And Terry is good, that QB transfer is the difference.
