What’s even more amusing is some of the OM fans talking about how rich “we” are.  Donate $50 to the Grove Collective, but skipping out on their child support.

Those folks are idiots. That’s like me saying I helped bring Nolen in cuz I rounded off the change at a restaurant the other day to contribute to Grove Collect.

I'm just glad I ain't wastin' money on that LOL!  Buying tickets and lodging for one game a year is challenging enough.

I do that when I’m in Oxford or Starkville just because I don’t want the change in my vehicle.

I just saw that a judge issued an injunction blocking the NCAA from enforcing players to sit a year for multiple transfers.  Lol.  As if there weren’t enough players in the portal, more about to jump on in.   It applies to the 2024/25 season.

MSU certainly hasn't

Heck they actually did this year and totally blew that. But also totally whiffed on last year’s portal class.

I can’t think of a single impact transfer from State’s team this year. Some of those guys are multi year guys that still have eligibility left, but that group did absolutely diddly squat in 2023.

Who's slated to start at QB in 2024?

I’ll go ahead and say it and don’t care the backlash. If we get a solid OL with depth then I don’t wanna see or hear 9/10 wins. We should at worst be a Final Four team during the playoffs. We will have a defense that should only give up 13-17 a game and a group of offensive skill players that I would put up against any team’s. Dart if he returns needs to take that next step especially in big games and if he does I love our chances. Charlie Weis Jr needs to step his game up too.

You're just asking for some ebb aren't you? LOL!

Exactly.   Anything less than 10-2 regular season is a bust.  11-1 should be expected and 12-0 is no doubt a possibility.

A defense that can give Kiffin’s offense more possessions will be a problem for any team in the country.   Can Golding coach them up?  We will see.  No excuses next year.

Wammies is saying 10 wins is a bust and you're saying 10 wins isn't.  Either way it's a good problem to have.

WAOM but 10 wins is a bust IMO. Wanna take that next step? Beat LSU in Death Valley. Wanna quit doing the WAOM thing? Don’t lose away trap games like @ USC and Florida. Wanna really change things? Go into the Georgia game undefeated that’ll get you College GameDay at The Grove  that can change things for years to come.

With this team I expect to be 11-1 going into the playoff reveal. Barring OL injury I’d love to know the reason why shouldn’t be.

I did get a chuckle out of Walter Nolan saying something to the effect of “the only thing that can stop Ole Miss is Ole Miss”. If only he knew how true that has been over the years. Lol.

It’s def true. Hey let’s beat Bama but let’s also lose to Memphis. WAOM

The only reason I’d say 10-2 isn’t a bust is because OM would still be in the playoff most likely.

So the way I'm understanding this, is the path to the playoff easier than the path to the SEC Championship Game?  I have a feeling it will be because there's going to be such a log jam at the top in regards to the SEC title game.  Heck there may even be an advantage to missing the SEC championship game as well.

That’s the beauty and the beast of the SECC now with the playoffs. Yes if you’re in it you’re pretty much guaranteed a playoff berth but how much does that get you. Same with the new Big 10. Can a 3 seed from those conferences get into the playoff without having to deal with the extra game is the question.

How Freeze lost three games with that 2015 team, I’ll never know. Best team in the state of Mississippi in my lifetime.

Cam Ward declared for the draft taking one of the top QB portal prospects off the board.  I guess he wasn’t getting the NIL offers he was expecting.

Supposedly Florida State wanted him bad and DJU was their Plan B. We’ll see if that happens now.
