Really? Why didn’t we hear of this before now? Every situation is different, of course, but it comes off a little as sour grapes. Dillon was really good at State too, just not in a system that allowed him many opportunities to run the ball. I’m not surprised he’s doing well at Washington. Heck I’ve told this to Blake and others numerous times in person way before this happened. Just because you don’t read about it on social media doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. I know staff members, current and former players. Doesn’t mean I’m gonna come on here and spout off everything I’m told. Just like I’m holding in info on one of y’all’s new guys who y’all might not see for another two years that I refuse to post on a board. Cuz it’s a bad look. There was really no secret around here that things weren’t great at the beginning of the season, but does one go and make a topic on a forum saying that? Especially if you’re a supporter of that school. This isn’t the end of the world as some want to make it seem. We have a guy that averaged 5.7 ypc behind a horrible OL waiting his turn and then the #8 RB in the class of 2022 that was ranked above Dowdell also waiting his turn. Playoff teams had the longest amount of time. Heck I think Washington and Michigan players could still enter until the end of next week. The "lifespan" of an NFL RB isn't long, I don't blame Q a bit for milking every bit of money he can while he still can. NoWammies Posted January 5, 2024 Share Posted January 5, 2024 They add depth to an OL that needed it by the year end. Pounds just started every game this year for UNC. Them two plus Heard from LSU that’s visiting this weekend would be gladly accepted. Pounds and Heard I could see being possible starters with Lewis as a backup to help during running situations since he didn’t look very good in pass protection.
