Rumors of Riley and/or Harbaugh going to the NFL.  Y’all might want to save some of those scholarships for their transfers.  Unless OM is paying so much, the players pay their own tuition.

Wait.  That’s an idea.  Pay so much you don’t have to worry about scholarships, so you can get ALL the 5* players you want and not worry about the 85 limit.

How about this for a “transfer”…. Ohio State is hiring Ross Bjork as their AD.

I am speechless. How does this guy keep making terrible decisions and get promotions for it?

What in the world are they thinking?  The baseball and basketball hires were good?

I’m asking because I legitimately don’t know the answer, but what’s up with these portal commits for Ole Miss that are suddenly decommitting? Saw where Tyler Baron is now going to Louisville.

Did some checks bounce??? Lol.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say OM let them go to get better players.

That will be the company line I’m sure. But Baron was a starter for Tennessee that had a solid year. Not someone you just cut loose, barring something out of the ordinary.

Commitment means nada in the current state of college football. Even enrolling in school does not mean anything. A player can just change schools on a whim. It doesn’t even seem like anyone even needs to be academically eligible anymore. Just say I am committed and I can play a position and Bingo you are on the team.

Bama players leaving is the kind of thing that will get the ball rolling on reform. The blue bloods are fine with the thing they helped create until they become the victim.

Right.  Once their player’s left the only portal players to pick from are Washington’s and Arizona’s.  lol.  You pretty much have to hope some big names get in the spring portal.  Not an ideal situation.

It's odd how the Tom Mars lawsuit helped open the Port Hole (I prefer to call it Port Hole- a good tribute to Mike Leech IMO) that helped players get out of Ole Miss under Freeze.

Ole Miss wasn't happy at all at that time while others cheered. Now, Ole Miss is (overall) liking the Port Hole while others are complaining.

Is Rashada suing the gators for breach of contract?

I doubt he could sue the school because the schools have no direct relationship with the collectives (lol).   The actual collective that offered him $13m over 4 years has already shut down.   I would imagine he could sue them, but he would probably get nothing.  Florida actually let him out of his LOI, so they were being as generous as they could.  Unlike Bama right now.  Their signees are not being let out of their LOI, and they’re having to go through the process of entering the portal.
