So, how did WC look in jamboree?

 

Remember a couple years ago at WC jamboree that Heidelberg coach got in a fight in the stands?  Tonight there was fights at the Laurel h’burg jamboree. Pepper spray and all.

I think they scored a couple of times against a Lauderdale directional school who didn’t score.

Same old song don’t plan on scoring twenty points and putting it all on the defense.

 

Funny you should mention old busted head. That was all over him heckling our what we now  know is really Bubbas low t offense.  Maybe he was right all along.  Think he would be interested in free season tickets this season as an apology.

Jv won 24-0 

 

Varsity won 14-0

 

offense was inconsistent(not surprising) defense looked decent.. we have a few athletes as always but I don’t really see much improvement from last year. Granted this was just a preseason game but I can safely say this team will not be make any noise in the playoffs. I’d love to be wrong but chances are I’m not.

I saw a local Mobile station doing a preseason preview with their coach. He said that they had eleven players holding offers. One a four star offensive lineman to Auburn another a Safety to Arkansas so they are talented not sure what happened last season.

For old the older members on here that remember former LSU quarterback and Raiders #1 draft pick bust Demarcus Russell. This is where he went to school he was the QB coach up until this summer. He was accused of stealing a large sum of money from the athletic department.

This team only won three games last season so I don’t know which program was looking for the cheesy victory when they were making the schedule in the off-season.  It’s not buttermilk biscuits this week. It’s cheddar bay . There won’t be a hundred people at this game.
Ten years ago we would have chewed these guys up and sent them back to Mobile licking their wounds. Bubba Hathorne was picking up garbage after the games back then now he’s making the games garbage. 

Everyone is wowing over this freshman running back on the JV team now. Which is true he’s a load already but let’s be real.  Like all the rest of the JV players the last few years he will disappear after this season never to be seen again. Hankinsthorne is already licking his jowls scheming up ways to waste another one blocking in the low t offense. He knows he can’t win in MS but you see he still keeps hanging around. Meanwhile we got colonel sanders and some guys who were driving a skidder this time last year as assistants.

I can’t tell you how frustrated and sick of this Jones County  reject garbage I am. People are complaining but they don’t really care what people are saying. Just order  more box boxes of donuts and plan another trip to a MHSAA meeting on the taxpayer’s dime.

Wayne County is great. They shouldn’t win the state title every year but they should compete for it. Great kids. Find the missing link or links and you will be there in no time.

Coaches won't even come and coach here anymore. It's not because of lack of money or facilities.

It's because people that were supposed to be over the process have ran and hid .

They got one coach that has never coached even little league before on staff. He looks to be pushing seventy. They don't care about winning anymore. Their only goal is to break them kids or run them off the team. They are trying to run a JR ROTC not a football team.

A lot of people are reaching out to me with info I wasn't aware of and afraid to say anything publicly.

I'm not. West Jones coach mama . I'm coming for you and the guy that was supposed to be retired next.  You lied.

What is Morton 2A ? I mean I get it. I think you know you suck and are looking for a class you can win in. Good luck. I had did my best to not include our. lazy coach in my sermons but I’m done with that. You know you are completely out of your league over here and everyone sees it now  I  know you have seen me on here being critical of the state of our football direction. You want to prove us all wrong so bad but you can’t.  So you turn bitter. You start running off any kids that showed passion and a hatred of losing doing the same old thing.

Then you have our broadcast crew indirectly run down OUR kids. Or maybe you didn’t but I will get to that.

We have plain white helmets now. You took the interlocking WC completely off. It’s been there since the school opened. You just decided to  do it on a whim ? Nah . You catching flack around town so you’ll show them and me. I’ve been your biggest critic. You keep harping on Laurel and Gautier as your measuring stick. They maybe be yours but not mine or anyone else. You got the stick now but you don’t have the know how or work ethic to use it. It’s pathetic hearing that really..

Now for the others. Newspaper man I’m disappointed in you the most. You talk about how the attitude has been cleaned up . I guess in a way that’s true because they don’t have an attitude. Matter of fact they don’t have anything. They play like they are performing some vile task. Like cleaning their room. You saw them helmets. Yet not one word. You are a sellout. Plain and simple 

Broadcast guys as they are getting blown out you turn your conversation to running down the kids that left and about how much effort the team has now. Everyone knows what you were referring to.  It looks to be paying big dividends though in year four as  the offense couldn’t score. At all. It’s wrong man and you know it’s wrong . They are our kids and you know why they aren’t there. You have seen the good. You know you are watching crap too. You see the helmets but not one word. You all are being bullied by losers .  Come on man snap out of it.

 

In finishing, I can remember all the road trips during the season and playoffs. We lost a few but won most and everyone knew the War Eagles were going to let you know you were in a game.

All those great players deserved to win . They put everything they had out there. We people who followed the team we didn’t. Not really. When it came our time to put some skin in the game we have slinked away . This whole thing has been caused by three people mainly. Three weaklings who you could run off with a feather but everyone sits silent while they tear it down. That’s all for now I don’t like thinking about this too much anymore.

Certain good coaches are looking elsewhere for non region games. That's true with the 7 classes. It's also true with this head coach not knowing his statewide coaches in Mississippi. It will run It's course. After about 3 or 4 losing seasons heads will role. Who knows who will be the next coach.

Seeing this run its course will be a grand day indeed. I’m not a fan of alcohol but I bought a hundred dollar bottle of red whiskey at the end of last season. It’s been gathering dust since then and will until. If I die before I will bequeath it with instructions.

 

 

Now looking back on what I put up there about some friends of mine I think I was a little abrasive . They have done a hundred times more for WC than I ever could. You guys have had it  probably  rougher than any of us.  Them long drives late in the year .It’s not fair of me to ask them to risk being blackballed or the appearance of being divisive.  Somebody has to be there to pick up the pieces that are scattered everywhere. For that I owe y’all a milkshake somewhere. 
 

The other part is I expect some kind of mention this week of not coming off sour grapes. They don’t deserve even innuendos. Of course you probably already know how it  sounded.

If you want to talk about helmet abominations, you should see PRC’s helmets.  They’re not that shiny royal blue with the pitchforks on the side anymore.  They are a solid matte black with blue facemasks and nothing on the helmets whatsoever..  It’s awful.

The very bad.  I don't see another win. He's run sixty percent of the players off since he got here. The RBs are already getting beaten up. They will start chewing through the JV soon and ruin them too.

Of course he will survive this year . Haven't you seen the way the ream lines up during pre game and the way their cleats are cleaned and shined ?  The only thing that counts to these losers in life is to break them kids or send them right back to the streets.

One of the kids parents got up in old red faces grill after the game the other night. The kids locker was cleaned out on Saturday morning and he was kicked off the team. This is what happens when you give a fool authority. Loser in life and couldn't operate a fruit stand in the real world.
