They are looking for assistant coaches again. Might should hire some MS guys this go around.  Also, hearing Bubba is looking to retire. This would be a bonus.

A revolving door of assistants?  Say it ain’t so. You would think it was NEJ and other places Bubba has coached. A little while working around him and anyone with any vision will want to get the hell away from his pretend scenarios. It’s why my opinion on Coach Hankins has plummeted. Anyone with any get up would have been long gone.
I don’t think Hathorne is going anywhere.  He’s getting off on walking around the facilities knowing they are his now. If there was a such thing as a squatter in coaching circles it’s him. Move into something someone else has built and fantasize that he’s just one season away from doing what they did.  Sad times.

Northeast Lauderdale, Williamson(some scrubs out of Mobile looking to get right), Morton.

Some of the non region schedule this fall. There was a time when you couldn't get these teams to play Wayne County. Now they can't answer the phone quick enough . 

Coach Boyles used to be adjusting the route trees this time of year. Now they fight over a dam car tire in practice. I guess they plan on scheduling the service team at Big ten tire shop down the road.

Frankly I've grown weary of trying to shine the light on what has happened up there. In the end corruption set in because simple minded people couldn't see it happening. Now I fear it's too late.

 

What I will say is some of these simple minds berated me because I spoke out about losers creeping back in when they got the chance. Well it has come to fruition. Not one of those simple minds has ever come back and said you were right. 

 

To the ones that old hawkbill nose has reading this thread because he keeps them employed you can tell him that what comes around goes around. He's probably too dimwitted to understand the concept but something he knows all to well is you turn your back I'm going to stick it in if I ever get the chance. Your Supt neighbor won't always be around to cover for you.

Wayne County played Citronelle Alabama and played a very good team last night. WC looks to be a better team that last season. They are in better physical shape a lot stronger for sure. The Defense started out slow but as the game progressed they got better. Offensively they can score points but that wasn’t a problem last season. Their second year starting Quarterback looked more comfortable in his play last night. Understand this is just a Spring game so I don’t make a lot of assumptions on spring games because you’re only getting sample sizes. WC came away with a 20-12 victory and overall I believe have better talent and more depth.

First off hats off to the few kids we have that have chosen to put on the colors and fight for our county even though they are basically on their own in practices.If we ever come out from under the cloud of apathy and incompetence that has set up shop where champions used to sit I won’t let their courage or pride be forgotten.

 

Now for the part the sunshine pumper doesn’t want to be said but people aren’t blind.

Penalties, opposing runners going right through hits, no kicking game, QB running for his life on dropbacks all hallmarks of last seasons THREE (I haven’t forgotten Bubba) win season were still there. Sure our coach had to beat the sand hills of west Alabama to find one of his buddies to go vanilla enough to gift him a win but that goodwill won’t be found in South MS.

 

It was hard for me to believe that an Alabama coach had deluded themselves to the point where all they had to do was show up to a tradition rich school just across the state line and a trophy would be a piece of cake. Now I see I was blind or pulled into the trap of not wanting to go against the narrative even though I knew a life long loser at every move had hand picked this freeloader. There are several others who while not part of the takedown have sat silent knowing what the problem clearly is. That fence sitting is obsolete now. Feelings are going to have to be hurt because some don’t know history and how it relates to now. Silence is saying rock bottom is acceptable. In any event the gloves are off and spurned on by the comments of another coach I know that, well basically, the Wayne County brand is ass right now along with the principal and this blow hard wearing the whistle. I won’t be won over  this time. Ya’ll got to go. From the disorganized practices to no changing of how the team is attacking week to week  it’s laziness. Yes I said it . All talk and no results.

 

So come at me  with the mods and try to silence me again or better yet have the soy blooded superintendent send a note to Jackson with the other  stuff going there. Maybe they can give you cover to hide in. I know a hell of a lot more people out in Beat Four than either of you losers do. So remember that.  We going to see if we can’t smoke out who’s running cover for yall on that school board too.  Three assistant coaches short and can’t get any to come to work there or are you even trying? Where’s the money for that going ? That’s enough for now. The clock is ticking on you fakes.

 

One other thing I know you wouldn’t even call Breland back when he tried to schedule a game this fall so he called Brookhaven and they didn’t run away from the challenge.  Probably better for you in the short term that you didn’t do it though.

I got told by someone I know Saturday to dial it back and that this fall would be different. After all the war eagles were improving down the stretch and made the playoffs. 
It just shows the blinders that people have on . This is the narrative they are pumping out. 
Newspaper man you know what you are seeing You’ve stood on the sideline and watched the best. Be vocal. More people will be in your corner than you think.

Gautier 49-33 Loss

Stone 31-23 Loss

Laurel 45-28 win 

Vancleave 38-35 loss should have been run out of town after this

Florence 36-0 loss in playoffs and didn’t score a point

 

Laurel half the kids put out because they were playing their friends and family.

The rest was a slow descent because the team quit on this coach. Quit at Wayne County. 
Thats something that Northeast Jones did on Hathorne back when. Awfully similar if you ask me. 
Whatever they are trotting our kids out there totally unprepared for is really unclear. It’s not winning I can tell you that. The lips may say it but the results speak for themselves. Wait until they lose to Morton . I guess Perry Central didn’t have a slot. 
Someone is in over their head in MS. Go on home and let’s put this terrible marriage behind all of us.

Several jr highs that are going to be playmakers bypassed Wayne County high and are practicing at the academy . Kids that are sons of players on the great teams Marcus coached.

Another one is still in jr high is going to be a star. A son of one of these players.

The academy already has more players than Hankins. 
Breland knows what’s up and knows why he got passed over for this incompetent. 

Three dam wins against teams that coach Boyles would have run through with a  WC jv team .

 

I had my reservations when he got hired but never would have contemplated this demolition. We got no pride, no swag and get intimidated by coast teams. Slapped around by Gautier, lol. This man can’t coach at this level . His legacy at Wayne County has already been established .He should leave before he starts feeling the wrath. It’s already starting out in the jr high schools.

Sounds like Breland has a completely new team and should easily win State.

I don’t know about winning state easily because I don’t know how tough their competition is.going to be. However I do think Wayne Academy would beat the Ware Eagles if they played but Hathorne ducked them when Breland inquired about playing.

Tracey Lampley is the man to get things back on track and has the local support.

Hathorne would have to swallow his bias and not sabotage the hiring process because of that local weight.

Run off upperclassman that could have been built around.

Ruin the incoming young ones and make them leave or just not care.

Destroyed a premier program and made it a punching bag. 
That’s what y’all have done when you got the big chair. It’s just like every other football program that has been touched by your roody poo presence. Losing is in your DNA . Hell , all you had to do was hire a good coach and get out of the way. You just had to dip that disgusting beak of yours into they and hire someone that ran your offense.

 

At least with Shetland and Kev you knew you would get a game. Last years team was as undisciplined as I ever seen in Wayne County at the end. Coaches and players looked like they wanted to be somewhere else . I feel for the few we have out there trying. They didn’t ask for this crap.

 

This starts at the school board. That little test score victory lap turned out to be a hoax. Throw this trash out and give us our football back.

No it's not.  For the most part most of the games are reversed, but the non-division is different.  Ours is different too.  We've got Northshore instead of Catholic and we added Petal as an away game.  Wayne County doesn't have Oak Grove on the schedule to start this year.

The region will be the same except the locations reversing but they don’t have no control over that or it would have been cheapened down too.

I will say this. I have no clue what they will look like as a team but Williamson has a loaded talented team. They have 5 seniors with D1 offers. Everyone of them has an offer from at least one SEC team and they have a junior corner with offers from Fla St and Texas A&M. Things like that don’t guarantee wins but it’s not a horrible thing either lol. And Morton has a WR that will be one of the top recruits in the State next year. On paper the schedule may appear easier but that’s definitely not the case. This coaching staff has lost me so I don’t have any expectations for the year. But from what I saw in the spring there’s talent on the roster… but I still don’t see the coaching staff doing enough with the talent to get wins.. I hope I’m wrong.. I’m tired of seeing one of the greatest programs in the state brought to the ground bc of idiots
