Also Ocean Springs hosts Madison Central.  @Davidshould be able to give you some insights on Madison Central once he awakes from hibernation.  He should be there watching his Greyhounds play.

Meridian loses the only two things it had going for it. Marcus Boyles and Daniel Hill. How in the world are they gonna win 6 or more games?

That blinding blue turf ought to be worth a few wins, wouldn’t you think?  Heck, why don’t they just get some blue footballs that match the color of the turf and they’ll be set.  The upside to that is they’d have plenty of time to practice that way and get used to everything being blue.

Hattiesburg does this every year it’s nothing new.  I feel like they assume we don’t have the same level of talent as last year when we really did just reload. Itll be a good game. But Hattiesburg needs to actually beat Petal first.

Its not that OG does not have the same level of talent. This HHS team may be as talented or even more talented than the teams they had the 2yrs they went undefeated in the regular season 0f 2017 and 2018.

I’ll believe it when I see it. Although I do know some of the names y’all have over there. I’m just used to hearing the same pre season stuff over and over. OG is just playing a different level of football than most of the pine belt right now and actually winning rings. 
 

I’m mainly iffy on Hattiesburg’s QB play though more than anything else. Seems like that’s Vance Achilles heel from a development standpoint

HHS also got a corner from WC and a dang good WR to pair with Tristen Keys. Right now the only weakness is special teams, which could be fixed this season.

Is Deuce Vance going to be playing quarterback again? I had heard there was a move in that was slated to play quarterback but he has since left Hattiesburg from what I heard.

Not just qb play but also defense. Have they really stopped anyone that had a pulse on offense from scoring 20+ since Vance been there?  They are like laurel, must out score teams.

Not defense, special teams. They have put us in some horrible positions the last several years. As far as defense they don’t believe in stopping the run.

I actually just found last years game with y’all vs Pascagoula on YouTube and watched it. That o line was of y’all’s got manhandled. It was one thing for west to do it.  I saw yall and laurel game it happened there. But to see goula also do it shows a theme.  Y’all and Laurel are too similar. Big o line with 1 superstar that is worth the hype, but the rest are either too slow to block fast d linemen or getting pushed all over the place.

Honestly, I don’t care 2 things about that Pascagoula game. I’ll take the Laurel game but Pascagoula I don’t want to hear it. It’s always something playing them.

You contradicted yourself. You think WJ is going undefeated. Then you say Hattiesburg has a chance to. HHS/WJ play the final game of the season. Also HHS/George Co play each other as well.

I was unaware until this morning that former Columbia LB Mac McDaniel transferred to Oak Grove. That’s a very solid addition to Oak Grove’s defense. I do believe he had over 20 tackles in the state championship game. If not he was very close to it.
