No chaos so far this weekend

I'm rooting for all undefeated teams to lose just to see who gets "Top 4".

New Mexico State/Liberty is a pretty good game so far... Liberty won't get a top 4 even if undefeated so it doesn't matter.

Washington is looking strong vs Oregon so far, I'm not sure why Oregon was favored in this game.

Still kind of crazy to me that Dillon Johnson and Trey Benson could go from playing in the same backfield at St. Joe to being two big contributing backs in college on teams that could make the playoffs. They were fun to watch in high school and have enjoyed seeing the success they’ve had since then.

Last night was the first time I've really watched Washington. Johnson was running over people. Led me to wonder what other transfer/former high school players with Mississippi ties are still playing. Thomas I know, but I'm sure there are others.

Finally some chaos.

With UGA losing, that opens up a spot for someone. Texas seems the logical choice. Ohio State has a good resume also.

It's POSSIBLE Michigan and Florida State both lose tonight which gives us a ton of chaos outside of the obvious undefeated Washington.

There has been at least 1 SEC team in the playoffs every year since it started, we may be seeing history.

IF Florida State loses (that one is a tossup IMO) while Michigan wins... I'm guessing:

1. Michigan

2. Washington

3. Texas

4. Bama

IF Florida State wins, they're at #3 with Texas at #4.

I'd like to see the Big10 and ACC somehow not in the 4 team playoff since those two were the reason we didn't have the 12 team playoff ready to go THIS season.

I think Michigan (barring a collapse), Washington, and Texas are in. If FSU loses then Bama gets the last spot. If FSU wins, it’s gonna be real interesting.

I personally feel like a 13-0 FSU should be in. I know the QB injury changes who they are. But that would mean they won a road rivalry game and a neutral site game against a Top 15 team without their QB. I don’t think that should be short sold. I don’t know how you leave out a 13-0 conference champ for an SEC team when FSU is also 2-0 against the SEC.

I realize that if Bama gets in the Playoff they are probably the favorite to win it. But there are four other deserving candidates that didn’t get beat on their home field, and one of them is the team that beat Bama head to head.

Not sure why you guys are saying good riddance to CBS. Their production is light years better than ESPN/ABC. It was a terrible decision to not work out a deal a few years back.
And for whatever reason many people don’t like Danielson but the guy is very knowledgeable and does a good job. But he doesn’t sugar coat things so most people don’t like him. He is the modern day Howard Cosell.

As long as he doesn't call anyone a monkey he's ok

I could see them moving Bama ahead of FSU.  With the 3rd string QB, they definitely aren’t a top 4 team, but I’m still not sure about with the 2nd string QB for FSU.  He hasn’t had enough games to know.

I’ll say the committee says Michigan, Washington, Texas and Bama.

Peronally, I think the best four teams are Michugan, Texas, Bama and Georgia.

I too think if any team gets left out that it would be FSU cuz of the QB situation but then I go back and tell myself well they let Ohio St in a few years back with a 3rd string QB and they won it all.

My prediction is

1. Michigan

2. Washington

3. FSU

4. Texas

And I think it winds up being Washington/Texas for national championship.
