Hattiesburg didn't and I doubt they would again.  It would have to be someone else and I think someone else can.  Hattiesburg just needs some time because they will have some adjustment/growing pains.  I think you'll see someone different representing 6A South in Starkville this year.

I heard that too supposedly ..his name Brayln if so its looking scary. Total of 4 Qbs transferred

Do not know. I only know of the one who came from Laurel. So yall tell me where these other qbs came from. Lol

Gavin Duckworth came from OG    Jakobie Griffith Came from OG,  Joshua Marshall Came from Laurel , Rumors Brayln Albritton came from Wisconsin transferred to Milton HS now in Hattiesburg, not including our own QBS..so much going at HHS right now. We are beasting so far LOOKOUT!

I wont say beasting, because only one can start. Which is gonna make the others wonder why they transferred. Now if they wanna maybe change positions and can be a contributor im all for it. But 5qbs on a roster is a bit much.

I Mean beasting for as a team young players stepping up in these camps LSU, Ole Miss, getting offers and more. QB Armstrong #9 is a FS now you right he has changed some players positions. If he can gel these players together as a team by district Look Out!.

he’s the one they hyped up all last year as the next best thing after they recruited him away from south jones.  He had a decent season at sj then the toxic environment at laurel im sure didn’t help him there their fans wanted him gone by week 4.

I watched Laurel a few times last year. The QB play was pretty average. If that.

He could go with a 2 qbs on certain plays and then use those other kids as receivers or safeties.

I think picayune should be the odds on favorite in 6A south at this point.  The coaching staff is proven and has been there.  They honestly should have beat Hattiesburg last year and I think they exposed enough that Grenada was able to take that game film and figured out how to beat Hattiesburg in the championship. 
 

Hattiesburg for sure has the talent on offense but a new qb, new head coach, and replacing the entire defense is just too much for me to want to put them above picayune. 
 

west jones *could*  but there are a couple big question marks.  The o line will be fine. They lost the big rb from last year but still have the number 2 guy that’s now in his 4th.  And he was the spark plug to several games for WJ when teams keyed in on the big guy and underestimated his speed.  I’m told they are very high on a couple moving up from jr high. They should have 2 legit receiving threats this year that will be an improvement over last.  But Lindsey the 2 year qb that was injured most of last year doesn’t want to be qb. He will play there some but I doubt he will be at that position every snap.  So the question is who is the next guy?  On defense the lb’s and d backfield should be fine but the d line is a huge question.

Apparently there's some hype with Pascagoula as well.  I think they'll be very good, but who do you trust to get it done?  I feel comfortable putting West Jones over Pascagoula if the two meet up in the playoffs.

One thing that may help Goula in the region this season is they get both Picayune and Gautier at home. Same way with Hattiesburg. When you get your 2 toughest region opponents both at home that is a huge factor.

Didn't realize hhs had that many transfers. I had to look some up just to see how legit they were. The kid from north forest looking good and the qb from Georgia.... well we'll see how that play out but for now I see us winning or losing every game by 1 lol. Right now the defense gotta get beefed up at every level but the season getting interesting day by day with the transfers coming in.

Seems like there’s hype around Pascagoula every other year.  And I get it, sorta. They have lots of athletes.  But they also always seem to be missing something.

And that thing that seems to always be missing ends up being something consistent.  Take the abnormal weather for example LOL .

If not for the monsoon there at south state in 2020 WJ beats them by 30 instead of 3.

Y’all got monsooned on in 2020, we got fried there in 2020, and we got monsooned on there two years ago.  The lessons I’ve learned through all of that is the coolest part of their stadium is right where the concessions are and ponchos don’t seem to work there.

It will all work itself out in the end but right now I believe you could roll the dice and end up with Picayune, Hattiesburg, West Jones or Pascagoula and I would not call it crazy. 6A south is going to be fun

6a south will definitely be interesting.  I think Hattiesburg takes a step back but still can compete.  Who knows how many transfers West Jones ends up with.

That game should've been moved to the following night.  They knew the severity of the approaching weather and proceeded to allow a game to be played in which simply executing a snap from center was an accomplishment.  Freakin' travesty it was.

Games have been played in horrible weather conditions since the game of football was invented. Now if the A.D./Coach sees the earlier in the week of the game that if its about a 70% chance of rain or more on a Friday night they want to move it up to a Thursday or push it back to Saturday
