You said the same thing in 3A for how many years and never could get past the second round and when you did y'all struggled to score in the next round because everyone knew what was coming. Do ya'll play hard yes, do ya'll do the little things right yes, I am not taking that away from ya'll but man you have to be realistic. If I'm honest it looks like for 6A that Goula is a little high on this list. I can believe they'll be a top 10 team in 6A, but I don't think they belong in that top half. NoWammies Posted May 15, 2025 Share Posted May 15, 2025 I’m interested to see how Region’s 4 and 6 play out in 3A. IMO arguably two of the toughest/most complete regions in all the classes. Up North it would suck to get you a home playoff game as #2 seed and see either Choctaw County, Winona or Noxubee County come strolling in as the #3 seed. They gave West Point a run for their money in the playoffs last year. Biggest question for them going into the season is at QB since Beamon graduated and went to Tulane. They got some solid production from whoever they used the other day. They’ve got some speedsters at the skill position and some good sized kids on both lines from what I saw. They definitely had some speedsters from what I saw. Just was like Next in line and next man up. I certainly didnt think they would have had that coming back. Despite the issues that everyone not from laurel can see), Northeast Jones, South Jones and Wayne County this season. Brookhaven may have been the favorite if not for the coach retiring.
