And it will have similar results. Whoever thinks Brandon has a better defensive delusional. They gave up over 40 a couple times havnt they? Clinton went over 60, years I don't think so Merlin. And no you can't compare Hattiesburg defense to Last year's West Jones defense if you do you are the delusional one.

And I don’t care if the wins continue, he’s an erratic thrower. 2,000 yards is not exactly a Herculean accomplishment in this era, especially against much of the competition he’s faced. Hattiesburg’s defense will carry it to a championship, not Vance.

In fact, they don’t have an identity. Vance’s legs are what move the chains, not his arm. If Picayune corrals him, they win. Honestly, hburg not having an identity isn't a bad thing. You just don't know what they will do. They might run all game or pass. Just gotta be prepared for both. But I have a clue how they will look offensively against picayune. But not that huge of a difference. Hattiesburg does have the best defense in the state this year. And it’s more than good enough to keep picayune from making it too close. However Picayunes defense is a veritable sieve and Hattiesburg will trash it.

I didn’t have a view of it from the streaming feed but Coach Vance was very animated so the Pascagoula defender may have crossed the line. If so, he should be disciplined. Deonte3455
I think Picayune will attempt more than 5 passes.

How much will Hattiesburg have to change their base defense to stop the run? I voted Hattiesburg in the poll, it just seems like this is their year of destiny. But, I will not be surprised at all if the tide win. Picayune is accustomed to playing on thanksgiving weekend so much so, that I bet the AD puts its in his yearly budget. Hattiesburg defense is the best I saw this year, but they have not faced a offense like Picayune. They have the size and they tackle well, but it takes discipline too. In fact all season they have waited for their opponents fans or someone who has no ties at all to HHS to post something first before they reply back. Picayune is definitely on an even level with HHS talent wise.
Bulldogs4
I am objective here and until Hattiesburg can prove that they can win this kind of a game, I will go with Picayune. They are battle tested team, playing at home which in this case, is a big advantage. Hattiesburg is capable but the result on the field is what counts. Picayune 31-27.
