Teaching is a profession where only a few are willing to actually do it, and out of those, only a handful are actually good at it. But for some reason, almost everyone thinks they're qualified to speak on how easy the job is.
-
It's a direct result of social media falsely amplifying people's perceived importance.
-
I never questioned whether he had the experience or was deserving or not. Obviously, he checks both of those boxes.
-
What makes you think he'd be interested in the Pascagoula job? Seems like he's doing more than fine where he is.
-
It's neither silly nor disrespectful to have an opinion that doesn't align with yours. But, you guessed right on this one so congrats!

Hattiesburg run defense stayed behind in the Hub City. They making #10 for WC look like a Heisman candidate.

I'm beginning to believe that the Hattiesburg curse is real...

100% agree I will also admit I was completely wrong about that one too. I'm not gonna pretend like I had some epiphany about Ole Brook prior to the game. I fully expected WP to be the bully instead of the bullied. Congrats to Ole Brook on a statement win on the big stage!

Predicted State Championship Scores

I like Gulfport as well. Coach Pennock will have them ready. Heidelberg and West Point are the obvious picks. Hattiesburg is another one I'm personally confident in, regardless of their past. Columbia has been tough all year and I'm going with them as well. Hopeful that Raleigh can finish strong also. I have no clue about the 1A game so won't even offer a guess there. -
Rightly so, and that's the mentality they need to have.
-
And I'm looking more heavily at the last 3-4 weeks than August/September.
-
I won't get my feelings hurt being I have absolutely nothing vested in the 6A title game. That's just my unbiased observations from last night's game. Hattiesburg was a two-man show last year, but not this year. Looks like the new coach/staff has served them well.
-
I have to agree with this. The coaches made adjustments when needed and played a "team" game. That was the most well-rounded Hattiesburg performace I've seen. I'd be very surprised if they don't win by 2+ scores next weekend.

Probably didn't think Grenada was going to stop your Tigers last year either, did you?

It's always a crapshoot when it comes to Sims.
