The only thing Vance and his crew are good at working are there local refs from Forrest county. Refs probably were kin folk of most the football players from Hattiesburg.

The refs were from Laurel not Hattiesburg. We’ve seen some of them before, Hattiesburg been having crappy refs just like last night the last 3 weeks. We’re used to it. We’ve played from behind the sticks so many times this season because of refs.

Except for the white hat official. HHS had that same crew at west jones a few weeks ago

He didnt call him for being out of bounds. After he lands the ball comes out and he calls it incomplete. I reckon its that ol thing you here in college and pro when they look at the replay and determine if the receiver completed the process of the catch

If he has control right there with knees down that’s a td regardless if the ball popped out after his arms hit the ground.

If he had said catch was a td it wouldn't have shocked me. Ive seen plays where it looks like a catch ruled incomplete and seen plays that look incomplete ruled a catch.

I don’t know anything. It’s crazy to think that Hattiesburg traveled to Picayune and fans screaming we brought the refs down there when we got flagged all night. We’ve been beating the refs all year. At 17-7 Picayune should have put the ballgame away. The only thing I could attest to is the catch Picayune made out of bounds should have stopped the clock but that has nothing to do with Hattiesburg. I wasn’t in line sight of the catch and that picture does no justice.

Ok we will leave it at that. The game was stolen from Picayune and they should be in the championship game. Let’s condemn Hattiesburg and move on.

The sun rose this morning. You had air in your lungs. Instead of whining, make the most of the day the lord has made. Sometimes in life, we get the short end of the stick. Pick yourself up and get going forward. We can blame bad calls by a ref but hell if Picayune could defend a go ball, they probably would be getting ready to practice next week. You guys had a great season. You will be in the hunt to be in this position next year as well. You guys have a great program.

With that being said I think keys just scored again on a 4th and 40 play for the 3rd time.

Picayune and HHS will probably meet again next season. The WR for HHS returns and the backup QB who could start most anywhere now will be the starter next season.

It is going to be interesting for sure. I know Picayune “reloads” but they do lose some really great players. Pascagoula returns a lot from what I was told. Something like 15-16 starters back. West Jones will be more experienced. While Gautier is losing some great players, they are going to be super athletic. George County will be a wild card. They lost their best weapons on offense but do have some nice pieces coming back. 6A south is going to be a gauntlet once again.

I can take being beat fair and square. Last night was very far from that. I just don't like to see kids being robbed from going to a championship. I would love to know how many penalties were called against Picayune. I know 3 touchdowns were called back.

But you didn’t condemn any part of it. What you have implied all the way through is that well since it happened to us before let’s just look over it. Looking back Stogner should have went on the field and caused a scene because Hattiesburg coaches only got bolder .As the game progressed the officials spread their cheeks and let them put it in hoping it would just stop.

Karma would be Grenada putting up enough of a fight next week to make the ref abuse be on full display for the whole state to see but I’m not holding my breath.

Look over it?? What can be done? What’s done is done right? So what you want me to say? Hattiesburg doesn’t deserve it? It doesn’t matter what I say.

I’m certainly not trying to bash fair, but imperfect officiating by any means because I realize mistakes do happen.  The crew that we had last night didn’t need to be perfect, but they needed to be fair.  They fell short of being fair by about 179.6 miles.  Also at this point in the season, the MHSAA should be using their very best crews at their disposal.  They should not be the ones determining the outcome of a game.  Players are the ones who are supposed to determine that.  If that officiating crew had the mindset of being just “officials” and letting the flow of the game determine the outcome, you’d definitely would have had a different outcome.  The integrity of the game got jeopardized and that’s where anyone should draw the line.

Maybe we have a disconnect here. You did say they didn’t deserve it  and that picayune should be in the title game. Did you really mean that ?

 In the end I can go back and forth with you because you put it out there to deal with. That I can respect.  Some don’t and hide in their passive aggressive corner.

Yall got some good players and the focus should be on them but the environment that is created around them.  Specifically by that coaching staff.  Makes it hard not to wish failure. Honestly I would probably smile if the winning score was called back due to sideline interference next Saturday.

I don’t expect you to like it but that’s the way it looks to most everyone else. 

I know you stay far away but you should really come back home for the finals. Everyone plans on coming back soon but rarely do they ever .  A lot of stuff has to go right just to make it.

The ones who do live far away better come. Championship appearances are special and sometimes you only get that one opportunity. I remember in 2018. Hattiesburg fans that i know who lived way off had already booked hotel rooms and made airline reservations for Championship weekend only to be disappointed. So i expect to see former friends classmates and ex players next weekend
