Nettleton is already in Region 4, Aberdeen will probably be 2A being replaced by Amory, then if Winona moves to Region 3 someone has to move in that being Mantatchie the closest or an I-20 school perhaps Union first.

Region 3 is the Delta. Has been for years.

Byhalia is to far north and east of Rosa Fort, Coahoma, North Panola, Independence, and Strayhorn.

Bottom 10 of 3A but if they are near 150 its close for Baldwyn. Belmont top 5 2A, borderline before the multiplier. Booneville 4A before the multiplier, 3A after the multiplier, top 5 3A.

Then do you send Mantatchie to Region 4. Perhaps you send Kossuth to Region 1, Mantatchie to Region 4, and Winona to Region 3. Or do you send Yazoo County south and Union, Pisgah, or SE Lauderdale north.

I am predicting: before they're divided 3A North Region 1 - 7 or 8 schools Region 2 - 5 or 6 schools Region 3 - 3 schools Region 4 - 4 or 5 schools Sub total 19-21 schools 3A South Region 5 - 5 or 6 schools Region 6 - 6 or 7 schools Region 7 - 5 schools Region 8 - 3 or 4 schools It appears that Coahoma County, Winona, or Choctaw County will get stuck in Region 3. Also Amory and another school will be in Region 4 with Louisville and Noxubee. And Seminary, JDC, and maybe Magee go to Region 8, Raleigh to Region 5 pending what happens to Lake, Mendenhall, and Richland.

I believe that would be 4A but then the multiplier kicked in. I think they stay 3A but their towards the top.

Has anyone heard if PCS actually turned numbers in?

US New and World Report for OLA 212 and St Stanislaus 170 last October. Double those numbers and both go 4A if the dividing line is at or around 330. If its 340 then St Stanislaus is borderline providing those numbers hold.

And the fact it's tied to the same bill they defeated because they want school choice with county funding going with the kid to the private schools, homeschooling, church schooling, etc.

Everyone is exited to an extent their team is winning. If losing less excitement and less gate. Taylorsville brought appx 60 fans to Raleigh. Normally the sideline behind the fence is full G to G 4 or 5 deep and end zones 3 man deep.

The numbers they both turned in last October throws them back into top of 4A. I have Sumrall at 466 #3 4A and Purvis at 451 #5 4A last fall. So I will say they are borderline 5A/4A.

MAIS went to 3 classes 3A largest 20 in 5 regions of 4 St Joe to Region 1 north East Rankin to Region 2 east/northeast 4 largest stayed together in Jackson Park Place Region 4 with Simpson Mississippi Louisiana schools in Region 5 PCS would save money by scheduling 2A schools in the south. Maybe 1 or 2 Jackson area schools on schedule. I think they save more money by playing public schools closer by. I guess they can compete with Purvis, Sumrall among others in 4A with the multiplier. I still question whether or not the multiplier was already used to put them in 3A now. It's been in the handbook for many years.

I believe MAIS Class 4A is now 3 or 4 regions with 4 or 5 schools each. It split the Jackson schools. PCS would still have to travel to Parklane, Copiah, and Simpson i think for Region 3 or 4.

6 schools per regions helps with scheduling in 6 classes. 7 classes have created more open dates and less home gate.

May have added 20 kids or 30.

If they turned in 215 or less its very likely borderline or 2A.
