1A/2A appx 145 to 150 2A/3A appx 205/210 3A Region 5 is going to change with 4 schools near Tennessee line reporting lower numbers. St Stanislaus and St Patrick probably moving up. Who will take their place JDC and Seminary or will Hazlehurst and Crystal Springs be shifted north and those other 3 shifted Southeast. Will Noxabee come South again. I look for a big shake up in 3A.

Herrington Lake is continuing to grow as a population area in Scott County their going 3A more than likely.

In Mississippi the MHSAA tie breaker #4 for playoff seeding actually if I understand it correctly is totally points scored in region play. So running up the score sometimes works out or benefits at least one school. #5 Goes to a coin toss. Administration needs to understand there is a reason you have to beat an opponent by 41 vs another region opponent just beat them last week by 40.

You have Hinds County, Clinton, and JPS

Unless you gave somewhere between 315 to 345 you should be very confident in either 3A or 4A. That split will be interesting since it was 320 in 2024 and maybe around 330 in 2025. I still say we may have a shifted further north 3A South. Schools like Noxabee, Choctaw, Louisville, Newton County, Yazoo County, etc in region 5 and6 respectfully.

It will be more like Seminary 42 Raleigh 12 based on last night's performance.

The thing is am mostly intrigued about is who's up and who's down and what region they will be in especially those schools within 35 miles north and south of I-20.
