Everything posted by Rebel Bert

  1. It was close last year. D'Iberville survived on 1 play.
  2. Some games were canceled due to the weather. I gave looked everywhere and no listing of scores to amount to much. @fnutl is posted the scores but it won't pull up any list.
  3. $200,000, $500,000 WILL START DIPPING INTO ONE'S BUDGET.
  4. And they tied South Jones 3-3.
  5. Doesn't show any wet roads or rain. 1 vehicle Toyota Tacoma back of cab bent down, back of truck broke in peices and folded inward and almost torn off. Probably some head injuries to those in the back. I want to say 588 goes from Ellisville to SoSo or 59 to 84 to 28.
  6. WDAM I believe that's were i read that .
  7. 5 students from Jones County injured in a 2 vehicle collision on hwy 588. The car rolled over, young man had to cut out of truck. Three 17 year old and a 11 year old all transported with injuries.
  8. Warning ends at 4:30, looks like hail flattens out and heads toward Stringer along and north of 28.
  9. Magee doesn't have the size or depth to win it. They are picked 4th in the region.
  10. Big time hail falling between Raleigh and Taylorsville moving Southeast. Look for delays in Tartar town tonight.
  11. I wonder how Puckett, Pelahatchie, and Pisgah fields fared last night in the wind. I know Puckett has already announced road games through September 15th for high school and Jr high.
  12. 240 schools total counting 14 non football schools. It will drop to 237 in a few years when North Tippah and Leflore County complete their consolidation plans. The legislature wants to close 35 schools or district offices.
  13. I don't know who Puckett is playing but tge home fame on the 28th has been moved to Brandon vs Sebastopol. No junior high or Jr games at home until after September 15th.
  14. Clarkdale may be moving up in 3A come 2027. They may have a little more talent. Stringer probably has a little more talent than Enterprise as well.
  15. Taylorsville is the favorite in region. That region may be very weak below them and Stringer.
  16. The only question is did it happen before the 1st probation was up. And if so who allowed it and why.
  17. First 2 offenses are stern warning and slap on wrist. We know it wasn't the old coach that quit during the season.
  18. It will surprise me if its anything other than scheduling or issues that have occurred at games involving both leagues.
  19. MHSAA does have a 20 mile radius for private schools. MHSAA also has a rule where a player must be enrolled by July 1 and live in the school zone if not private school.
  20. If a clean merger and a big IF here is the current numbers: MHSAA 7A 25 6A 24 5A 25 Leake Central Added 4A 39 Leake Central subtracted 3A 40 2A 40 1A 47 240 Total Will drop to 237 when Leflore County/Greenwood and North Tippah completes consolidation. MAIS 3A 20 2A 20, 18 Football 1A 32, ALL 8 Man Football, 3 non Football 95 Total Merger = 332 Total Possible 7 Classes breakdown 7A 32 6A 32 5A 32 4A 57 3A 57 2A 57 1A 57 If you keep 8 Amanda and increase it to 40 then here is the 4A to 8 man setup: 4A 55 or 48 3A 55 or 48 2A 55 or 48 1A 55 or 67 currently 12 non football MHSAA 8 man 40 Then its possible 8 man grows to above 40 to around 48 dropping 4A-1A to actually 53 each.
  21. That's why I say scheduling agreements, fan issues, etc were probably brought up.
