Poplarville played most defensive snaps of the game with 10 kids within 5 yards of scrimmage with only the safety almost 10 yards back. Several times all 11 were within 5 yards. No reason to respect the pass when watches not completed but 2 in 3 weeks. I expect prep to beat west next week
choctawman
SB Live gives the score as 40 to 12 WJ. What gives? It was corrected on MHSAA site to 10-7. Edited September 28, 2024 by choctawman

But yes I don’t think the score would have been much different. I think their offense has 3 td’s on the year.

NoWammies
I def didn’t see Wesson starting the year 5-0 after losing O’Mari Johnson to Jackson Academy. Big win for them tonight over Mize.

Plus losing your starting RB that put up nearly 1000 yards. I’m not even sure if Johnson has played for JA yet this year.

I guess the talent level at JA is greater than that at Wesson lol
NoWammies
Pisgah is another team I’m surprised that’s also sitting at 5-0 but like Wesson they haven’t had the toughest of schedules. That changes next week against 5-0 Raleigh.

Big win for them tonight over Mize. Mize never gave themselves a chance due to turnovers. Moved the ball up and down the field, but fumbled 3 times in scoring position. Once on the 2 yard line. Had 5 fumbles in total. We even picked up some turnovers ourselves, but then we would just turn it right back over to them. Probably had close to 300 yards of offense, but just couldn’t protect the ball. Edited September 28, 2024 by Chunky6617
