Laurel they have some athletes and they are big. They have some speed in the backfield and outside. The QB IMO is playing out of position I’m not sure if they had an injury or he’s all they have. They had a lot of turnovers in our game. My pick is WP well I went 1 for 2 yesterday but I was almost spot on with how they would or could play out. He obviously inherited a strong program from Pierson but it took Scott a looooooooong time to reach the top of the mountain. Perfect seasons that end in a state title are extremely hard to pull off, we’ve seen WJ run the table in the regular season only to lose in the playoffs before. But nope, very business-like and dominant from WJ this postseason. And again, it’s Year 1 with a new coach. That’s coming from a WC fan and we’ve had some great defenses come through WC. We also had a very good QB come through WC named Corey Reynolds. I know WJ is a friendly rival. But I use to work with Corey’s dad he was a good man and passed away a few years ago. He was always proud of Corey and his brother Adam and would share their accomplishments with whoever was listening like any proud father would. So I know he was gleaming last night.
