We all know by now that Vance have trouble winning BIG games. Tonight was another poor coaching game. How could you let your son start and cant complete a pass he been starting for 3 years despite injuries. He should know this system down to a scientist since elementary days. Deuce had a offensive and a defensive penalties by himself both was a major blows in this game. Vance ran our RB Wade 90% Deuce 8% and Fairley 2% this never happened this season. We didn't see RB Bratcher and Jones tonight for some reason. We had plenty of opportunities for WR Keyes to go 1 on 1 but Deuce failed to put the ball in his hand. We have the players to win BIG games and a championship caliber team. Don't let this game fool you we have the talent. Vance turned down good transfer Qbs from playing at HHS last 2 years cause of his son. My OG and WJ fans told me tonight that we need a good HC coach that's all. slicklizard Posted November 3, 2023 Share Posted November 3, 2023 I misread the toughness of Hattiesburg at the line of scrimmage on defense. They got dominated by West’s physical offensive line. All the QB has to do is turn and hand the ball off with that execution . Well you and david were pretty accurate, ill leave it at that. The ones saying dline best in the state is typically the fair weather fans which everone knows we have the worst fans in the state. David44 Posted November 3, 2023 Share Posted November 3, 2023 Look Hattiesburg is still a good team. WJ jumped on them quickly, and they got down on their selves. RB Wade was as good as we've seen this year, and should play on Saturdays somewhere, but Hattiesburg will have to be able to complete some passes when it's 2nd and long or even on 1st and 10 to keep defenses honest. They have tall and fast receivers, just need to throw the quick passes outside or underneath, to bring the CBs up some to setup the longer shots downfield.
