South Jones has a tough road. Wayne county then Gautier if the win in round 1. No clue what south Jones looks like but they may be too beat up from playing a big wayne county team to beat Gautier

Pascagoulas been hot the past 4 weeks, wouldn't be surprised to see them go on a run

NWR already beat OS earlier in the year. Different teams now for sure but it would not be a major shock to see NWR beat them again

Last year was yalls first winning season since 2014, and this is the first year Hamilton has won 2 playoff games since 1982. Can you blame the guy for picking yall to lose?

Pretty sure he was at Petal in 2020 when Oak Grove won their last one. I think last year was his first year at Oak Grove which ironically was their worst year since 2017

Wouldn't surprise me if this were a shootout. I don't think either side will stop the other much, I think you've got to give the edge to the best player on the field in that case.

If they all end up 3-2 yes, but NWR still has to play Brandon so theyll probably be 2-3 in region. Then its just head to head with Pearl and Meridian. Pearl would be 3 Meridian 4

Resurrection and Sacred Heart are playing for the #1 seed too right? Kind of wild how good Sacred Heart is doing, they usually fight with Salem for last in that region

I was wondering the same thing. George County hasn't won a playoff game since 07 but all of a sudden they're this powerhouse team? I'd say both teams have a ton to prove this Friday before anyone takes them seriously

I think region play is too late for a beneficial loss. There's a small silver lining to losing early in the season if you have a really good but unfocused team, coaches can get the kids focused and have them play up to their potential. If you aren't locked in and playing hard for a region title or playoff spot then it probably just won't happen

I think its Picayunes to lose if the running back can come back at 100%. Either way it'll be those 2 in south state. No clue about how the northern part of the state is shaping up though
