Wonder how Resurrection was not called out on this throughout regular season that they dominated? Tough break for the kids to get rug pulled out but also frustrating for every team they knocked out along the way to see this now.

That could very well be a possibility also. I have just heard a bunch of griping throughout the season about the schedule.

This was probably the result of some influential coaches upset about having to start district play in December because of how the calendar fell last year. Most coaches don't want to have to play district games in early December if they got football kids coming back and not wanting to play district games over the Christmas break.
