Green and staff are in the process of changing a culture here.  It may take some time but there were very encouraging signs on display in week one.

Is Pascagoula going to be more run oriented?  The reason why I ask that is because the new coach said he wanted to get his RB 1500 yards this season.

Is Goula good enough to make an actual run at it if Picayune is down. I also think Gulfport may just be that good and Picayune is a better team than they think right now coming off of that loss.

Coast football as a whole is down in my opinion this year. You have Gulfport that appears to be on its own level, then Pass Christian, Poplarville and probably d'Iberville are in the next rung and then after that it appears to just be a pretty fair amount of average teams.

Pass Christian nor Poplarville are above Picayune. Diberville possibly.

What has Picayune done this season to say they are above either Pass or Poplarville?? We will be able to answer the question about Poplarville/Picayune in a few weeks. Maybe I am jumping the gun, but to see Picayune get shut out - at Home - for the first time in 20+ years speaks volumes. Gulfport is really, really good. They were last year, and Picayune beat them. Picayune has routinely beaten higher classification teams. So to see them get shut out, in my opinion, speaks volumes to how "down" they may be.

I could possibly go back and say Poplarville.  But Pass Christian? I just dont see them being in the top 10 of the best schools on the coast right now.

It was actually a span of 26 years and 3 days, from 8/25/2000 to 8/28/2026.
