Either OB or Center Hill. After 8th grade year dad shopped him around at some Memphis schools and then his middle school coach retired and went to Germantown and he transferred there with him from what I was told. He could have seasons like Grenada and SP had this year at Grenada and stay there until retirement. At SP, you win district 2 of 4 years and go to North State and you are fired. South Panola hasn't been what they used to be in a long, long time. Doesn't mean they are bad, just means that they are on par with everyone else. They don't completely dominate anymore. I moved from Batesville to Hernando about 7 years ago and have only been to a couple of SP games since, but I do still have some contacts who know what is going on. I thought Coach Oakes was a good choice when Coach Woods retired. It’s obviously not the job it was 15 years ago but I think with the right fit, SP could challenge again. I think it will take someone who can connect with the players obviously, but also with the family support of those players, and someone who will connect with the peewee league coaches who are from what I understand, former SP players. I think a coach that could tie all that together could get the program back to the top again.
