Why is that?

Didn't realize that. That's crazy, TSSAA does nothing to Memphis area schools public or private. Also would help if the county would bite the bullet and redraw the lines but that's not gonna happen. DC has over 2K kids and OB barely has 1K. Will be interesting to see how the opening of the new Hernando HS affect this also, alot of folks that can will move to the nice new shiny thing. Heard they were gonna have a jumbotron out there.

Clinton several on the coast a couple in Desoto county but most of those coach a sport

Heard they had a ton of interest. One of the issues in Desoto County is the Memphis area schools recruit DC pretty hard. MASE won a state championship with a Lewisburg QB. Collierville had a kid from Lewisburg as a QB a few years back and his brother went to Lewisburg. Both lived in MS.

Most HFC jobs get around that many, most are thrown right into the trash.

What’s the deal here, can’t seem to win or keep a coach? Russell is a good coach and couldn’t make it work. Seems like a lack of talent and high expectations.

That Humphrey’s Co team is talented and runs an offense that you don’t see a lot and they run it well. Hope they can make a run.

I don't think he coached last week vs Potts Camp.

Why can’t they be called Presbyterian Christian in the MHSAA?

I may end up suprised but just can't see them doing this, makes no sense logistically. Originally had heard they would make the northern region the 7 team and put Oxford and Tupelo in it with the Desoto schools. This would make more sense than just one of them.

I think I counted like 8 3/4 seeds that won over the 1/2 seeds. Atleast one 4 seed upset a 1 seed. You’ll see a few more this weekend in the larger classes. We used to take 3 out of 4 in basketball and baseball.

Handbook says if you go independent it can only be for two years unless you go independent in all sports. I doubt Murrah is Independent agai due to this. Unless politics comes into play you gotta think the 7 coast schools are a region and the rest stay like they have been in 7A.

They only count 3 grades now not all 4. Used to be 9-12 enrollment now 9-11.

I also figure Tyler Peterson will get a good look at Clinton. He has been OC for a few years and heard he is well liked.

Coaches or Players??

Wolfe is a dang good hire for them. He will have a QB that can spin and more skill player talent than he ever had at Hernando. Probably had to take a pay cut to leave Lafayette to go back up to Desoto County

They have definitely done some interviews, from what I am hearing we should hear something soon.

Only rumors so far.

Columbus has posted their job. Tough place to coach but it does pay well!

I had heard his name but also heard another name that I think they would be foolish to pass up.
