This guy was the number 2 wr from our 23 team as a 9th grader. Last year he was at FCSHS due to some daily things and having to live with relatives. He didn’t play football there. They need to be contacting some d line and corners taller than 5’5”. Im sure the smaller jasper, Covington, and smith county schools have some that could be available for the right offer. Did not realize WJ was throwing it that much this season. Oh yeah, but still running it too. Holmes is well over 1000 yards rushing, and they finally let Tootie run some QB keeps vs. Terry. The passing game is on point. Terry front 7 was pretty decent, not sure how they compare to Hattiesburg's, but WJ will need to have some success rushing the ball to stay balanced and run clock. Well if you go back and watch a replay of our game vs George Co you will see that our defense got torched in the first half with GC running the ball. Their RB had 21 carries for 159yds. WJ went up a score or two then mid 2nd that rb started to torch WJ and the two started trading scores. West didn’t put it away till mid 3rd when the GC abandoned the run, probably because he realized they didn’t have time to catch up with how things were going, and they started throwing it. I would lean toward West being favored, but I'm not fully convinced they will steam roll Hattiesburg. If Hattiesburg can show up and play focused football, West will have their hands full. I'm not saying it happens, but there's also a plausible scenario in which Hattiesburg can win. There will be ebb and flow in this game. The team with the least amount of ebb should win this one. Reportedly drunk. It’s not yet public who it was but Wendy’s has tape plus the witnesses. I can only imagine a warrant will be issued today. I can tell you that all of them, except Reynolds, are beloved by the kids and this will be a huge blow. They won’t post video to public. But the identified vehicle isn’t owned by any WJ coach. The laurel pd have a tag number. But as of now it does not seem anyone from WJ.
