In multi team tiebreakers, the #1 is record against the highest seeded team. With a win over Gautier, Laurel has that tiebreaker over everyone else. Highly unlikely but there is a chance.. -
May need to change my user name after these picks lol did hit the Mendenhall as a 3.
-
Nej 23 mendenhall 0 half
-
This is true.
-
The great Neaves has dropped some knowledge on the YouTube. Reclasses delayed due to delay with receiving numbers from DOE.
-
Too late. Downfall started with the last Superintendent and it’s only getting worse
-
Laurel LOL
-
Tiebreaker 1 is not points. Tiebreaker is record vs the higher seeded team. Shields skipped a step is why it is incorrect
-
Bullet 2 puts 3 and 4 into play. Bullet 4 is correct but 3 is not. The correct version of bullet 3 is my above post of the 3way between forest nej and Quitman at 2-2
-
It will be a 3 way tiebreaker If Mendenhall and Morton win: Mendenhall 3-1 Forest 2-2, NEJ 2-2, Quitman 2-2 1. Head to head- all tied teams would be 1-1 2. How all 3 did against higher seed who would mendenhall-forest 1-0, Quitman 0-1, nej 0-1 so Forest wins this tiebreaker and would be 2 seed. revert to head to head, nej is 3 via win over quitman
-
They are incorrect on bullet point #3 as I stated above
-
@Panther2015If forest loses and mendenhall wins, forest, Quitman and nej will be tied at 2-2. Forest would win the tiebreaker due to having the better record vs mendenhall. Nej would then win the tiebreaker due to head to head against Quitman. there is no possibly way for Quitman to finish anywhere but 4th based on any outcomes this week.
-
One the 5-4A what ifs is wrong. If Morton and Mendenhall win: 1. Mendenhall 2. Forest 3. NE Jones 4. Quitman quitman is locked in as 4 seed. Other 3 seeds TBD
-
Brookhaven and Gautier are the front runners
-
Forest is 1 seed with a win. NeJ is 1 seed with a win over Mendenhall and if Morton beats Forest.
-
Quitman beat Forest tonight.
-
Morton is eliminated from playoff contention. a lot tiebreakers in play next week. Forest controls their own destiny for the region title. parity reigns in this group.
-
He was super young when he got that job. Like 25 or 26yrs old. Much different coach now.
-
Region should come into focus this week. Quitman @ Forest - Forest can wrap up the region with a win. Quitman is woefully under achieving with the athletes on the roster. I like Forest by a couple scores to secure the 1 seed. Morton @ NE Jones- NEJ wraps up a playoff spot with a win. Arguably, their best offensive and defensive players will not play due to injury. Still like NEJ to get enough stops to win a high scoring game.

Keep waiting for Laurel to get hot but doesn’t seem to be coming. Will be an interesting 3 weeks to the finish line.
-
Just a glorious disaster.. Brookhaven the favorite?
-
Mendenhall with a huge 24-7 win on the road at Quitman shakes things up. Forest smothered NEJ. Much closer game than score indicated. Forest adds a late TD to stretch things out. Forest D is as good as the stats indicate. NEJ couldn’t block them up front. Game may have been different if NEJs best back isn’t out even though the freshman fill in played really well and will be a great one in a few years for NE Jones. Forest in the drivers seat Mendenhall/NEJ winner will be 2nd Quitman will be a dangerous 4 seed barring they miss out if Morton pulls an upset the last two weeks. very competitive division..
