Mendenhall with a huge 24-7 win on the road at Quitman shakes things up. Forest smothered NEJ. Much closer game than score indicated. Forest adds a late TD to stretch things out. Forest D is as good as the stats indicate. NEJ couldn’t block them up front. Game may have been different if NEJs best back isn’t out even though the freshman fill in played really well and will be a great one in a few years for NE Jones. Forest in the drivers seat Mendenhall/NEJ winner will be 2nd Quitman will be a dangerous 4 seed barring they miss out if Morton pulls an upset the last two weeks. very competitive division..

Is it really that costly with the blue tooth tech capabilities that are available nowadays?
-
They used to be so good in the mid-late 90s. They were ahead of the curve with the spread offense. Remember watching Brock Berlin shred defenses.

He’s in administration. No longer coaching.
-
Big one in Forest Friday to possibly decide the district. Forest has played a very weak schedule so far.

NE Jones 14 Quitman 13 half sloppy half by both teams
-
South Jones hopefully will be hosting a playoff game in a few weeks

I’m hearing no movement from the Jones Co schools. Laurel nearly dipped to 4A.
-
Forest and Quitman have seemed to have separated themselves as top 2. Quitman looked great offensively this past week while Forest was outstanding on defense. This week it will be Quitman going to NE Jones and Morton hosting Mendenhall.

South Jones 29 Long Beach 22 Final OT

NE Jones will probably be 5A for the next two cycles. This current 9th grade class is the largest in school history.
-
Are the numbers being publicized today?
-
Should be 4A still

This district doesn’t seem to have a favorite: Forest 5-0: untested but beating smaller schools like they should Quitman: undisciplined but athletes galore Mendenhall: up and down week to week Morton: offense is outstanding, defense will struggle against a competent offense NE Jones: undersized but well coached. Will struggle against the more athletic teams in region play ill say 1. Quitman 2. Forest 3. Mendenhall 4. Morton 5. NE Jones

NEJones 24 South jones 21 great physical game by both teams. Both are on the come up.
-
We will never know because South Jones was not afforded the opportunity.
-
South Jones got absolutely robbed late.
-
Definitely improved. Think they will finish 2nd behind Quitman in that district.

Seminary 46 stringer 14 seminary looked very good over an improved stringer squad

What was the score? Also anyone have anything on Mt Olive or Collins?
-
Mize appeared to be the best team of the 6. Huge OL and 6 is going to be a monster.

Wet field is slowing WA. On a fast traffic, they are going to be trouble. 28-7 now
