rebmus
I figure we should keep it separate from the CFP games. Florida started SEC bowl games with a statement, just dominating Tulane 33-8.
NoWammies
I thought about doing the same. Yea that game was an example of what happens when your starting QB enters the portal before the bowl game. It was a pretty sloppy game in the 1H and could’ve been worse had Lagway not made a couple bad throws leading to INT’s. Luckily for Tulane they had Williams at WR or that game would’ve looked worse than it did.

Bulldogs4
Today’s bowl games have been much more exciting and entertaining and enjoyable than the playoff games last weekend. Maybe the bowl games are not dead after all.
rebmus
Oklahoma lost to Navy 21-20. SEC is 2-2 in bowl games so far. Vandy is playing now (leading Georgia Tech 14-10 in the third quarter). Arkansas and A&M play later tonight.

They got their ass handed to them early and he still had two potential top 10 picks that played and didn’t quit.
rebmus
We have Missouri tomorrow vs Iowa.
rebmus
Missouri took care of Iowa in a pretty dang good game, 27-24. SEC moves to a tad more respectable 5-3 in bowl games. Alabama, South Carolina, and LSU play tomorrow.
Bulldogs4
If all three play their best game, they will all win. But we know bowl games can be a crapshoot so we will see what happens.
David44
Michigan 19 Alabama 10. 7:21 4th QTR. If this holds up, the Finebaum Show could be must watch TV later today. Man, Milroe has missed a lot of downfield opportunities for big plays. Seems like he just can't see the field some days.
pancho
he can't process a pre snap read and has been really exposed at times this season. Deboar has a mess on his hands
rebmus
Bama and South Carolina lost, LSU won. The SEC is now 6-5 in Bowl games. Texas and Georgia play tomorrow in playoff games. Ole Miss is the only other non playoff SEC bowl game left, they play Thursday.
Bulldogs4
SC-Illinois was a good game. Bama had too many turnovers and it is hard to climb out of a 16 point hole. LSU played well and was never in danger of losing. If Ole Miss is at least interested, they should win comfortably but unfortunately there is no guarantee that will happen. ND may just beat Georgia. Since losing to NIL, they have kind of flown under the radar. And while AZ State is good, I think TX will win that game. Skatteboo reminds me of a modern day Franco Harris. Kind of a throwback running back from days gone by.

s1nglewing
Watching Jeanty tonight is like seeing a 2A superstar playing against a good 7A team.

Or at least behind a 3A line. The fact that we had a 3 seed come in as a double digit dog to a 6 seed tells you all you need to know about the logic of this current system.
