Is Wet Bulb Temp the same as the actual Fahrenheit temperature or is it something different? If it is different, how do you determine what it is based off of the actual temperature?

For a team that ended last season top 20 in both the Coaches and AP poll, let's see where things stack up. I have a feeling we won't even show up on the radar LOL!

I think so and they've got the land for their (future) football stadium, but I don't know when they plan to start varsity ball. Right now they are currently a MAIS 2A school, so they could start in 8-man initially. This fall is the first year that the school goes all the way to 12th grade, so maybe they just need to build the enrollment up a little bit more, but yes it is a growing school.

Heritage down here in Picayune has started football this year for 4th-9th graders, so that will be something to keep an eye on in the near future.

Man, that MAIS don’t play (well technically they do before the roosters crow) LOL! I guess they’ll be done before November hits.

@CrimsonUnit1988 I know you’re on here reading this and I know that what is going on in your neck of the woods is a tough pill to swallow. What do you think needs to happen in the long run in order for George County to turn things around? I honestly thought that George County would have been able to turn things around this fall and they still may be able to, but I know it’s gotten a whole lot more difficult.

For the record, I’ve never laughed harder or longer in my life.

Well here’s the new website: https://pac-4.com/

I honestly hate to see that, but things obviously need to get better there and they should. Those boys need a morale boost.

How does George County stop the bleeding?

Here’s something else to ponder on: Mississippi State added Washington State to their football schedule for a home and home series in 2030 and 2031 in order to meet the Power 5 requirement. You obviously don’t change that, but if Washington State ends up going to the Mountain West, does that matchup get grandfathered in to meet the requirement?

If that’s the case even though I absolutely hate it, they might as well snag up Miami as well.

Will the SEC have to expand again by default?

With all of this conference shuffle and realignment today with the Big 12 and B1G, it appears the PAC-4 is dead in the water. I wonder where the remaining 4 will go? (This is taking into account that Arizona State and Utah get the Big 12 to a 16 member conference.)

Dortch transferred to Cal.

We play Ocean Springs at home on Sept. 22nd. Everything else after that is geographically south. There's just not a speed train from Picayune to Oxford LOL!

We play at Brandon on August 25th. Anywhere from Oxford is a drive, but it's probably going to be the closest for you. You might as well come see the Maroon Tide play on opening night at Brandon.

It's probably a similar situation to Darnell. He's a fantastic football player and great guy and Darnell will be playing for Seth at the River this fall. Darnell is about the same height, but plays like a bull. Amarion is cut from the same cloth.

Sounds like a fireable offense and they just got a slap on the wrist with some cotton candy.

Go to a public school, save a buck or two, or thousands. When you po' like me, the choice is already made

So if the hardship application is approved are they immediately eligible at their new school?

Is this a first for having two Maroon Tide players make the list at the same time? It's definitely an impressive bunch for sure.

Defense wins championships, so give me Jamonta Waller. (and yes that is spelled correctly). Picayune has enough offensive firepower to complement the defense.

I haven't seen a Clarion Liar in years LOL! Why are those cats still in charge of that? Couldn't a relevant publication take that over?
