  1. 2 great programs. barring injury there will be no loser.both teams will be sharper props to both teams scheduling this series.
  2. that was some classic posts!
  3. i will be glad when these kids get to show us on friday night. i dunno about pearl, we will see. calling slick a keyboard warrior holds no water if you know him. i expect wc is gonna be a tough draw for anybody this year.
  4. Playoffs. I will be at every game, but don't really care about Brandon because it doesn't count. (other than I hope we learn from it and don't get serious injuries) None of the games in our new alignment are that interesting to me.
  5. Yes! We need to do that for sure.
  6. its about time you learned something new. typical Bulldog.
  7. come on, vott. Grass is not required football equipment. it is entirely optional. only gravity is required. after that some dirt (wet or dry, whatever you can get) is helpful but grass is just not necessary. trees and boulders should be avoided at all cost.

you could argue whether to start in august or september, but there is no month of the year where the temperature is significantly different between 7 and 7:30. people just want to argue.
  9. so scary…reminds me of the tragic death at Diberville game a few years back. they def need defibulators and trained personnel at all games.
  10. i agree. over rated. i like them fine but not worth a pilgrimage or the lines imho. plus that “the only real donut” advertisement is a big stretch when they are not even the original potato donut in ocean springs.
  11. im right there with you.
  12. Well we can agree to disagree on that. imho Picayune had the much better defense and it was obvious. Laurel gave up 298 pts in 12 games (24.8 points/g) HHS gave up 239 pts in 12 games (19.9 points / g) Picayune gave up 175 in 15 games (11.6 points/g) Not a lot of common opponents, but HHS gave up 41 to Vancleave who Picayune allowed 7, and Laurel gave up 42 to D'Iberville who Picayune also allowed 7 to. seems fairly obvious. You are entitled to your opinion, but to me it's like everyone else we beat. It was never our defense but their coach or their "offensive issues". To me WJ offensive issue = Picayune's defense. Exactly the same offensive issue West Point had.
  13. I was telling somebody this exact thing just this past week. Let the refs handle it. All the "throw the flag motions" from players is poor sportsmanship.
  14. really? and what level do you give the power to make those rules? i assume this goes for game clock time clock length of quarter etc
  15. Now that all the serious stuff is over with: this is a pet peeve of mine. It has been this way forever but WHY do we have half the distance penalties? It is absurd. Makes as much sense as a murder charge based on the age of the victim. Did you kill them or not? That's all I need to know. Yes I understand you cannot mark off a 15 yard penalty from the 14 yard line. But you can damn sure put it at the 1. I see no reason for a team to get off easy just because their defense committed desperation penalties to try and keep you from scoring down on their end. Penalize those cheaters. I say mark it off, if you can't, put it at the 1. At the 1 I am open to suggestions. Besides, it's too painful watching the officials in a huddle using their fingers and toes to figure out what 1/2 is and still getting it wrong.
  16. yea good term for it. by definition they have to play each other which will thin that out.
  17. alas, you ran into a running team with a defense.
  18. me too. look at this Picayune crowd. and right up by the field.
  19. 4-2. south is obviously only twice as good. math don ‘t lie.
  20. i dont have time to read all that but i read the topic and saw the word “association” so my money is on corrupt. let me know if you have any questions about the integrity of a corporation, bureau, agency, board, committee or the like.
  21. 12? why change times on the 3 game day?! its bad enough now trying to find some place open to eat after the last game. it puts all the people driving home on the road later too. same with 7 changing to 7:30. they are just moving stuff cuz they like wielding power over us peons.
