The answer is no. they used to be a clone. Picayune is a little more diverse this year with play calling. EC had some injuries. they are still a precision based running game. very little passing.

It's a brand new season. just make sure you don't start this one 0-1.

i watched a clip of every score in that game. half the scores were bad snaps into the end zone the qb could not be bothered to attempt to jump on at least. just ridiculous calling it football. last year img played a team that wasnt even a real school on espn. i dont know wth is going on here but you can bet $ is involved.

throwing the ball far is one thing. i agree he can throw the ball far. btw picayune qb can as well.

what are all the head-to-head tiebreaker points about if they don't come into it? seems to me it would depend not just on who wins but by how much. no?

we were 1 seed and stayed home all playoffs in 2021. getting ready to do it again.

you know i have to complain about something after every game.

hey it all worked out in ot. but i wanted us to go for 2 in regulation. stopping gautier from driving the length of the field is hard enough...i didnt want to have to stop them 1first and goal from the 10 in ot with the game on the line (but we rose up and did) after our last regulation score near the end, on our pat attempt, they jumped offside then jumped offsides again. so that would be half the distance twice. (declined) we would of scored - gautier defense had run out of gas at the end as you could see on that last regulation drive and with us running for the 10 yard td on 1st play in overtime. also our special teams have blocked kicks this year and shown they get a good push. several near blocks as well. last night they never even tried to get a gautier pat...why not? that could have won the game and it surprised me we never tried. gautier kicker looked pretty good.

qb is legit and they were in position to make plays and tackled well all night. well prepared.

im not making any predictions. i am also not sure that winning this game might not work against the winner if they match up agsin at south state. but winning the region and homefield throughout will be a big reward. To this point Gautier has simply scored as much as they need to to beat everyone they played. the quick release on that QB is something. it will take a while for our defense to adjust to it. i dont expect much punting. whoever can get a couple stops / turnovers will probably win. can’t let penalties or turnovers end your drives. Discipline will be key here. re best rb in the state. i dislike comparisons like that. i will just say we have 3 i would not trade for anyone else. and several others who are excellent and ready to step up if needed. Gautier defense is better than most realize. and their o-line is excellent pass blocking but we cant drop everyone back in coverage every play like i have seen other teams do. its important that we hurry their qb and put him on the ground some. this is gonna be a good one.
