that will stir the hornets nest… i dont know if turf was a factor or not in any of the injuries last night. still, i have felt the same about turf for years. i was against getting it. none of my friends agreed w me on that. i just know what ive seen despite what turf sales guys say the science is. plus its “cool” and you can sell ads on it. i remember hearing a long time ago some insane streak of years where no team w turf at home ever won the super bowl.

our qb Brady Robertson #7 went down at vancleave. dante dowdell #2 and amarion tyson #29 both went down last night. no update on statuses.

hey, the Hornets gave us all we could handle tonight. i heard ec lost there #1 rb for the season. hope he heals quickly. we played without our qb tonight. and we lost our top rb Dante and possibly our top defender #29 tyson at lb. this game was big. the injuries could shake things up in the region. we will see. hats off to our soph wb stepping up and filling in at qb and getting it done when we needed him. i was kind of expecting another game like vancleave but we were out of sync from the get go but hung in and found a way to win.

i think they have the potential to be but everyone is getting way ahead of themselves way too early in the season. I don't even like seeing that suggested. You have to keep on getting better and we can evaluate it after the season. We have a lot to improve on.

i would say, as early as it is, you can already pick region 4 - 5a playoff teams. in no certain order: Picayune East Central Gautier whoever wins when Vancleave and West Harrison meet. Yes there are a lot of games to play , but thats the playoff teams we will see. i thought gc would be in there pre-season - apparently not.

ive gotta admit i was a bit surprised what happened last night.

Vancleave gave great effort and i have to tip my hat to their qb getting up and continuing after a ferocious sack. tough kids on that team.
