I’m glad to know somebody up there seen what everyone else did. Hattiesburg is the best site hands down. It pulls people in from the coast along the I10 corridor just to watch.. if we are being honest Starkville and Oxford are in the middle of nowhere. Outside of the city locals no casual watchers are going to drive there to watch.

This was the right move.

I don't care for this location at all but I booked my rooms for the 6th.

Just keep racking up the 5A gold balls.  It really is the best venue for the high school state championships.  Unless a 20K seat stadium gets built somewhere in central MS, Hattiesburg is the best place for the state championships.  I truly hope they can put this mystery rotational crap to bed and keep the thing in Hattiesburg for the foreseeable future.

The turf definitely helps in this regard. Great venue. I will add the Mississippi College has a nice stadium and I think it used to be played on campus there at some point in time.

If Starkville, West Point, Louisville, and Noxubee continue to get to state then Starkville needs no Hotels for overnight stay. And they can drive straight home and never spend a dime in town.

You realize the same could be said for Oak Grove, Laurel, West Jones,  Picayune,  and etc. right?
