They have WJ, George County and DeIberville the next three weeks. They could go into region so down that it won’t matter who they play.

I dont see them winning those 3 either. But when region play starts, outside of Gautier I can see them getting 3 wins over East Central Stone and Vancleave. Laurel is a rivalry. You never know how those games will play out

They definitely should be fine in those vs EC,Stone, and Van. They'll out-athlete all three I feel

EC and Van lost a lot of production from last year so I think Wayne should be ok unless things are as bad as described here.

Yes it’s probable at this point. It’s got nothing to do with a fall off in athletes. I’m going to go more into it tomorrow when I have time to lay it out. Finding out more and more every day. That’s the thing about lying backstabbers they leave a trail of pissed off people behind them .

Yes it’s probable at this point. It’s got nothing to do with a fall off in athletes. I’m going to go more into it tomorrow when I have time to lay it out. Finding out more and more every day. That’s the thing about lying backstabbers they leave a trail of pissed off people behind them .

Thank you I have been lurking around reading and keeping my thoughts to myself. But after Friday night I had seen enough. The Stands are almost empty and getting emptier at WC. One of the nicest stadiums in the state if we would have had it from 2000 until 2012 or so it would still be standing room only. What’s the answer idk to be honest I know the first step.

Is there 1 middle school  or do they have 4 middle schools. That can be one of the problems. Getting all 7-12 grades on the sane campus may help. Then getting the right administration and coaching staff is very important. Surely the Administration is smart enough to get an OC from West Jones, Brandon, Madison Central, or Oak Grove to rebuild the program.

Well I seen online the other day the Qb from GC is hurt so that will help some that game. Yeah it's crazy to thin about 10 years ago they were on National T.V on a Thursday night. Now they are not even a .500 ball club.

I think the answer is pretty simple and easily summed up. In a few words it’s just not a priority to win right now.  Having a football team just checks a box on the forms they have to send to Jackson. Our school board is scared to death of running afoul of Jackson again and let’s be honest just good country folks that knew nothing of maintaining a school system in compliance.  Enter good ol BJ as Supt your point man for implementing this new program. He could hook up to a bush hog and make a few rounds but this was way over his pay grade.

  In any event they cruised along a while with the schools not really taking the program serious because you think he was monitoring it ?   Oh but someone was.

Fast forward a little while later someone, it’s not clear who, found there was five million dollars missing from the school accounts in the banks. They blamed it on being hacked, lol. Somehow they got a couple back. Sure, heroes these guys. 
On the heels of this the state smacks the school district down with a borderline takeover grade. Everyone seems in a panic for it. The school board and BJ are lost.

 

At this point Mangum had left and ol red face went from picking up trash after the games to making football hires. I kind of lost interest.

 

I picked it  back when they foisted this Jones County Supt upon us, They ran him out from over there but he was principal at NEJ and you know who hired to coach football? Ol red face and together they ran that football program into the ground.

Oh and the two million they “got back” back from the hackers ? I’ve been around. That was somebody getting out in front of that  failing grade report  .That’s what was left after they chopped it up and spent it. No telling how long that had been going on. They knew Jackson was coming to see them. That’s why they are so paranoid about staying within guidelines now. They don’t want nobody digging around in that courthouse from the outside. IMO ( that’s to keep them from harassing Blake over legal points)

 

I’m tired of typing right now. It gets worse as recently as yesterday. That’s just the infection I showed you there. I’m going to move onto the symptoms after I make a few people that are hiding out sweat a little more.

this will be my first game since Gautier in the playoffs the one that broke our coach and made him realize he can’t win at this level in MS. I don’t expect to be there long. I refuse to watch our kids get abused because of laziness

Well I can’t speak in facts to all that you have brought up. I do know the state had to step in under the previous administration it was a mess with a fall guy so to speak. Then a lawsuit with Clarke County something to do with Oil money.

My son played on the back to back Championship teams it was a different program then. I’ve been watching them since the McCain days a I don’t speak only on the Championship days. But once you get to the top your program does everything it can to stay there.  WC hasn’t done everything that it could to stay there. When Mangum left Daryl Carter the coach at Heldiburg was told that he was going to be hired. So he comes down to the board meeting only to hear we’re not making a hire today instead we’re going into a closed door meeting. Then they hire Shelton Gandy a man from Waynesboro he played at old Waynesboro Central and USM. He had an extensive background in coaching at all levels as assistant at high school, JUCO, College and some pro. The problem was job history he had not been on a job long so he was here two seasons. Enter a Interm head coach in Kevin Gandy he played at WC coached his entire career under Boyles and Mangum at WC. His interm year was the Covid year WC had to forfeit a couple of region games which kept them from the playoffs so he wasn’t given a fair shake.Sometimes in this time lineTodd Breland was interviewed for the job. Also Evans who was at the time at Taylorsville was interviewed. But none were hired.Well we definitely are in a free fall.

First off the principal has to go.

He’s already got Todd Lowery lined up as the next coach and if by chance the school board let someone else be over the hiring he will sabotage anyone else they bring in. The main problem is the west jones coach’s mother and that little two faced liar that has said he was retiring for the last three years but never does.  They are running cover for some hidden hand.
 That has to get sorted out or this will never change. Like the man said above Mitch Evans, Todd Breland and Marcus Boyles all wanted the job in the last five years. What does that tell you ?
