I am making it a point to ignore you this season. You may respond to some of my comments, but I will not be responding to you. No matter if you compliment or criticize HHS, I will act as if I never saw your post.

Wow this made me laugh in real life

Dang Vott we’ve been here for years. Through all the forum changes and I’ve never seen you shut someone off like that

I get along with everyone on this board but him.  He is just one that I have nothing for

Wayne does t look like they hit the weight room all that much. I do t see any of the physicality from them I am used to seeing.  Unless oak grove is just that much better on all fronts. The last time I saw WC get handled like this was 2010 vs west jones. It’s also the only time I have seen them get handled like this.

OG is on a mission this year.

Salute to WC for continuing to fight even when they were down last night. I actually expected a closer game since you have 6 starters back on D. Your offense will probably take a few weeks to get in the groove with all that youth. Bright side is you won’t see a better team the rest of the way. OG brought like 18-19 starters back and the majority of them will end up playing for D1 programs in the next 12 months or so.

So are you still as high on Hankins as you were when they first hired him?

I am still high on Coach Hankins. We didn’t even have sixty players on the varsity when he he got here. It’s close to a hundred now.

I don’t think I or really anyone else knew how far we had fallen off. When he says give him more time I have to take him at his word because I think he is honest. When I see the way he was truly hurting for our kids last night away from all the lights and noise. Most of these starters had never practiced or played as starters before a few weeks ago. Oak Grove had experienced guys across the board at the highest level and it showed. It may be a few weeks before we can even tell what we have. I’m glad we have plenty of time before the region starts.

Now I’m curious. Why of all questions you could have asked, you asked this one ?

I honestly believe Hankins is the right guy for the job. Last night wasn’t pretty in any capacity. A lot of that can be contributed to inexperience, a lot of it was just flat out not executing the play that was called, a lot of it was OG was just better. But I’ve seen the progress he’s made in his 3 years… I’ve seen the culture change from the previous regime.. I want the kids to be upset with a loss, I want them frustrated.. that is part of the process of building character.. losses like that happen.. it’s how you respond that will determine how you rise or fall from it.. Hankins cares about these kids… I see his vision.. and for what it’s worth he has my support lol

When he was hired we had zero players that benched 300. He basically had to start over.
