Barring a late miracle comeback by Oklahoma, State will be the 11 seed in Hoover playing A&M in the late game Tuesday.

It looks like Ole Miss is the 7 seed and does not play until Wednesday, but that would likely be against Florida.

The 2017 Hattiesburg Regional was the infamous mud bog Regional that State had no business winning but we somehow managed to do so.

Ideally I would like to win a couple of games in Hoover and then come home. Don’t really care to win it as that would not help us any.
At this juncture we are high 3/low 2 and that is not going to change any.

State women stay alive with a wild back and forth 11-10 win over Washington.

Have to beat Texas Tech twice but I think we certainly capable of doing such a thing.
Let’s Go Dawgs!!!

Ole Miss is in the drivers seat with two wins in their regional and now just need one victory to advance to the Supers.

State women lose to TT 9-6 to conclude a good but not quite great season. But certainly the program has been consistently good over the last 6-7 years. Defeated Bama on the road two out of three this year. And were very competitive with everyone on the schedule.

Seemed like we ran into a buzz saw out at Texas Tech this weekend.
Ole Miss down early to AZ but still need to only win one game tonight.

There is a major log jam for the last 2 or 3 host spots. I don’t think it’s settled at all yet and conference tourneys will definitely matter.

Maybe I’m wrong but State feels like more of a 2 seed than a 3 seed, IMO. Guess it doesn’t necessarily make a big difference. Geography dictates a lot of it anyway.

Yes, a lot to be decided. I think USM needs to win 3 games and get to the championship to be safely hosting.

Other than perhaps Troy, any loss in their side of the 4 team bracket, could drop the RPI too much.

If they win 3 and lose the 1 game championship to Coastal, I don' t believe they will drop much, if any.

Ole Miss, sitting at 17 D1 ranking and 18 RPI, certainly still in the hosting mix, if they can make some kinda

 run at Hoover.
