    Personally I think the hearing should be in Hinds County. There is an appeals process at MHSAA. Also MHSAA is headquartered in Hinds County. Did this judge rule in error.

    Most of us are waiting to see if coach survives this since he has go before the board to be reinstated as a coach for any and all sports. He is also not allowed to have contact with students. I wonder how that works in the hall way, class room, and lunch table. Has to be weird at school.

    Petal is the 2 seed, Brandon the 3 seed, and NWR the 4 seed based on they skipped #2 tiebreaker with the scenarios list.

    Petal is the 2 seed. When they did scenarios they skipped step 2. Step 2 is how the 3 teams faired against Oak Grove who got the 1 seed. Petal beat Oak Grove and the tie is broken. Brandon gets the 3 seed on head to head with NW Rankin. They admitted the mistake late last night.

    Mississippi has been put under a Marginal Risk of Severe Weather Friday Afternoon and Evening if You live along and East of the Natchez Trace. 60 mph winds , quarter size hail, and tornadoes are not being ruled out. So be prepared with umbrellas, ponchos, whatever to stay dry. And remember lightening in the area will send teams to the locker room. I think years ago Bogue Chitto and Union played to 3 AM to finish a game that went into multiple delays and OT.

    For me its the winner of Simmons and Nanih Waiya. I don't see Taylorsville beating either one. Unless Stringer upsets whom ever they are matched up with.

    2 championships in 3A and 2A. 16 of 20 in 3A make playoffs. 16 of 35ish 2A schools make the playoffs

    3 rounds of playoffs with season ending November 13th. You don't need a power point system. 4 regions of 5 schools and you take the top 2 teams to the playoffs. Then u separate the Jackson Schools into different regions hoping they are top 2 in region for the money.

    National weather service in Jackson is saying 40% Friday and 30% Friday night. Take your umbrella , rain coat, etc.

    They over looked it or waiting on transfer papers. Then again some might want to be in school until 25 for government funding.

    Any Friday night games being moved to Thursday or Saturday due to rain. Last I saw was 30% chance in Jackson area late Friday.
